Investing your Bitcoin, Steem and other crypto coins - Guide / Tutorial

Hi steemit!

Today I'll show you how to "safely" invest your steem, bitcoins and other cryptocurrency. Before we start - don't worry, I wount advertise any scam or ICO. We're gonna look into methods that allow you to slowly multiply your coins, that otherwise just sit in your wallets. Of course it's good to have your "reserve fund" but it's also good to make money work for you. OK, but why the "safely" is in quotation marks? Well, there's no 100% safe way of investing in crypto in my opinion but we're gonna look into the safest ones. Also we're looking for something that will require as little time and attention as possible - it should work by "itself".

OK, but but what profits are we talking about? We're expecting close to 0.1% daily. One note here - everything above 0.5% daily, especially "3% daily!!1" is a scam and you should never invest in such things. OK, lets go!

1. Steem - investing in @minnowbooster

@minnowbooster is a bot that allows you to buy votes - you pay any amount of SBD and the bot votes post that you choose. It can also lend us steem power but that's not why we are here.

detailer information about @minnobooster: https://steemit.com/minnowbooster/@minnowbooster/introducing-minnowbooster-beta

What's interesting for us is the option to power-up @minnobooster, which means transferring our steem into bot's steem power. Why you ask? Well, thanks to this operation the @minnowbooster wil start to share his profits with us on daily basis. According to the devs our investment should return in a year and after this period we will still receive payments from the bot. I have to say, it's really nice to receive SBD on daily basis, even if it's a small amount.

OK, to power-up @minnowbooster we have to choose "power-up" in our wallet, click "Advanced" and type @minnowbooster in the user field - just like on the screen:

We can also delegate (lend) steem power directly to @minnowbooster - this gives smaller profit than powering up the bot but we can always cancel the operation and get the steem power back.

2. Lending our coins on exchange platforms

It's simple - we lend our cryptocurrency to users that use margin trading. Theoretically we're 100% secured and can not loose our coins - according to the exchanges.

Two exchanges that provide the best lending service:
https://www.poloniex.com
https://www.bitfinex.com

And a very helpful website that shows the return rates for different coins on several exchanges:
https://cryptolend.net/rates.html

The expected return is about 0.1% daily. It can vary greatly and sometimes excedes 1% if the demand for loans raises greatly. Just remember that every lend lasts several days and you won't be able to always get the highest returns.

I won't go into detail about the lending itself - there are serveral very good tutorials about it:
poloniex:

bitfinex:
http://cryptocrooks.com/how-to-setup-bitfinex-margin-funding-for-passive-income/#.WWD88-lpyUk

It's worth to mention that the process of lending can be automated so it almost doesn't require any attention for us. Here are the best tools to do it:
https://www.poloniexlendingbot.com/
https://cryptolend.net/

Automation of the lending is very well described on various tutorials, including video tutorials on youtube so please feel free to google it if you're interested. In my opinion it's best to start with BTC lending on poloniex - it's the simplest and most stable platform to do it.

There's mainly only one risk involved in lending cryptocurrency - the exchange platform can close and run with users money. Yet, I believe that nowadays it's much more profitable the run the exchange and earn transaction fees that stealing.

3. Investing in online crypt-casino

The biggest winner in casino is always the owner - everybody knows that. There are many crypt-casinos and several of them allows to do investments which means buying shares in their profits. The casino needs capital to pay off the winners but in the long term it is the casino that will earn more. By investing into the casino we buy our shares as well in the profits (long term) as in the looses (short term).

One of the casino plaforms that we can invest in is the https://www.crypto-games.net/

Here's a video tutorial how to do it:

From my experience I can tell that we can expect about 0.1% daily return from our investment but this can greatly vary in the first days. After about a month we should see a stable income pattern though.

As for the risks, these are the same as for the exchanges - the casino can close/get hacked and users may loose their money. Yet, again I believe that running the casino is too profitable for the owner to allow it to happen.

OK, that's all I have here, please feel free to ask any questions in the comments and follow me :) Cheers!
