I tried to convert my "steem" dollars to #bitcoin and they don't pay our or respond when you give them the transaction number. Watch out this is a Scam and a network that needs to pay out before it loses all respect and reputation. You still owe me $12 #steemit
I have done this through blocktrades before. I don't have any to convert right now but when I do I'll give it a try and confirm that it still works. Did you properly enter your bitcoin wallet? I'm really curious why this didn't work for you. That would suck to lose money in a transfer and I want to make sure it doesn't happen to me too.
