DAOSTACK, A DECENTRALIZED BLOCKCHAIN FOR CORPORATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS

Ever wondered why some corporations and organizations do not stand the test of time? Not because they lack the required material or human resources to succeed but sometimes, lack the essential ideas, commitment from workers to improve and sustain their existence. Thereby, leading to it's downfall. This failure is mostly due to incompetent hands handling at the helm of affairs and ghost workers eating from where they did not sow. The good news is that DAOSTACK powered by Ethereum hope to eradicate such inadequacies and incompetencies in organizations through a decentralized blockchain for a central governance for organizations.

Here, decision making of an organization is earned through a token called GEN. For every task a worker accomplishes successfully, GEN TOKENS is rewarded which can be used in decision making. Ones strength, level or power in making decisions is determined by the number of GEN token they have acquired overtime based on their commitment, dedication, contributions and value they add to the growth and development of the organization.

THE POWER THAT LIES IN GEN TOKENS

DAOSTACK economy is run on GEN. This token will be given to workers who add value and produce results through task accomplishments. GEN tokens controls the decision making of the organization to a very large extent because one can decide not to give his approval when a proposal doesn't suit him. That is to say, one can either give or withhold this tokens to support or be against a decision, policy or proposal that concerns the organization.

DAOSTACK

This is a decentralized ecosystem which will enable companies and organizations make decisions collectively. Here, decision making will be in the hands of those who worked and merited power which comes in the form of the GEN TOKENS. Thereby, curbing rivalry and power tussle amongst workers in the organization.

"This is one of many interoperable collaborative application, it is also known as the native user interface for the DAOSTACK."

These are applications that helps in collaborative decision of a group of people centered around a common goal.

ARC.Js

A comprehensive and user friendly API layer that enables "front-end developers build and develop collaborative applications on top of Arc easily and without being familiar with the blockchain."

Arc.Hives

This enhances the interoperability and network effect among collaborative DApps built on top of stack through the economy's shared registeries.

Arc

This is like a WordPress for DAOs. It helps for easy configuration, editing, or upgrade through an open library of governance modules and templates.

However, improvements will be made to strengthen the DAOSTACK foundation for a much better efficiency and efficacy.

HOW DAOSTACK WOULD CHANGE THE WAY CORPORATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS RUN

Every organization from the onset has a clearly stated and defined hierarchy that spells out the position and level of power and authority someone posseses in the organization but With the invent of DAOSTACK, I see no hierarchy in an organization because everyone has equal opportunity to make decisions based on his voting power. Anyone who wants to be part of the important activities such as decision making process, approval of proposals in the organization would have to earn that power through consistency in performing tasks properly.

Individual positions in an organization is not constant because, you might have so much GEN TOKENS today thinking you are ahead of others, but a little relaxation can make someone else over take. There for, everyone has to work hard and be up and doing to attain and sustain power.

WAYS DAOSTACK WOULD IMPROVE EFFICIENCY AND STRUCTURE OF ORGANIZATIONS

There is nothing that kills a business like eye service which will no longer be so with DAOSTACK because your progress at work now depends on your tangible input in the organization.

When people know their progress, promotion is not in the hands of any individual who might be tribalistic, sentimental or judgemental; they will put more efforts in their jobs. No need to struggle to get favours from people to get promotions or make decisions because you can get that power through your zeal at work.
So many organization have ghost workers collecting salaries whereas they contributed nothing to earn that money. This would help organizations know who is actually working and who isn't to save unnecessary expenses in paying dormant or dead People.

To a very large extent, this will help in accountability in duties and serve as reinforcement to dedicated and committed staff who are desirous to do their jobs void of external influence that could threaten their efficiency and performance.

Some potential use of DAOSTACK is to have the ability to take records of attendance of staff, how effective they perform each duty and where they need to improve to make the job better.

HOW DAOSTACK METHOD OF VOTE POWER DISTRIBUTION METHOD PROMOTE INCORRUPTIBILITY

Corruption always prevail when power is centralized in the hands of a few greedy leaders. Even those with good intentions might yield to whatever they are asked to for the fear of been kicked out.

With DAOSTACK, everyone does his work without fear nor intimidation because power isn't centralized. This will give every worker who is willing to work the confidence to work effectively and efficiently because you are accountable to nobody to accomplish tasks.
You don't have to engage in illicit activities just to get favours or promotions from superiors because it's now solely upto you to work hard and earn that power, position you wish for yourself without supervision or external control. When a worker has this peace of mind to work, void of manipulation, fear, or intimidation; corruption would reduce to it's bearest minimum.

ADVANTAGES DAO HAVE OVER TRADITIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

DAO gives everyone an opportunity to share his thoughts and contribute meaningfully to the development of the organizations unlike the traditional organizations where decision making lies in the hands of few which mostly results to rigidity and corruption.

DAOSTACK gives everyone equal rights to make decisions in the organization. No body is looked down upon or limited by his paper qualification because power is given to those who have worked hard for it unlike the case of traditional organizations where hierarchy could limit so many competent persons from making decisions.

Most traditional organizations give promotions based on favoritism which mostly isn't on merit thereby, thereby, giving power to incapable hands who have nothing to offer the organization which wouldn't be the case of DAOSTACK because every power must be earned.

DAOSTACK allows for measurement of one's performance through his contributions and rewards from performing tasks whereas measurement of work done isn't always taken note of in traditional organizations.

Corruption is the order of the day in most traditional organizations because power is in few hands who take advantage whenever they opportunity presents itself. But this isn't the case of DAOSTACK.

Finally, with this new invention, so many ills going on in most organizations will be tackled and people will have no other option than to sit up and do their jobs. This will help build sustainable organizations that will take the world to the next level.
