Bad Experience with Glidera

I hope you enjoy my artistic skills above :)
All jokes aside, I wanted to share with my fellow steemians that I, unfortunately, had a bad experience with Glidera.
First off, I wanna say I am NO EXPERT with cryptocurrencies. I've been researching it on and off for a while now. So I have a very general knowledge and that's it.
Secondly, just because I had a bad experience with them doesn't mean you will.
I'm the type that is VERY easily skiddish.

On 6/7 I initiated a transaction with Glidera. It wasn't a large sum of money but enough that I'd be pissed if I lost it. The deposit date was 6/13. Yesterday. So, I ardently watched it through the day and this morning NOTHING. Well, that freaked me out. So....

  • Glidera does make a profit off these transactions. Good customer service would dictate you fucking let me know if it's going to be late.
  • I contacted them and they couldn't give me a firm answer saying it's a "high volume" time. Well, I'm sure it is. At this point I had already removed bank account info. And then worriedly keep checking my bank to see if it went out.
  • Anyway, I requested immediate account deletion. And though glidera failed my expectations of letting me, as a customer, know my transaction was gonna be late (a TBD late); they did however quickly rectify and deleted my account.
  • I will be sticking with Coinbase. Haven't had any issue there.

So, just an FYI to any other beginners out there that Glidera wasn't for me. If any of you more wise steemians wish to drop any bread crumbs of advice that would be nice. Otherwise, everyone keep steeming on!

No buenos.. I have never tried Glidera before. Or coinbase.. Only BTC atms so far for me. But im sorry about that.. Sometimes the BTC transactions do backlog though. Not sure if it was the case here or not. But best of luck steeming!

Thanks! Yea they were basically saying that but not in a very reassuring way so I just cut that out
