DeepOnion(DO) recently deployed is 40th and last airdrop, as well as launched it´s vote central.

DeepOnion is a privacy based economy with a social platform connected to it. The first unique thing with DeepOnion is that they never ICO´ed but just air dropped the tokens to everyone who was willing to contribute active throughout the 40 weeks of air drops. This makes a lot of sense, since there will be no whales buying power on the platform, only earlier contributors will have a slightly larger account, which is well deserved and makes sure the holders of DeepOnion actually care about the platform.

A vote central ?

Yes, DeepOnions future is based on the voting results applied on ideas and issues, big or small. A voting central that just now is opening for registrations as the airdrop era is over. I just voted on the first proposal as number 163 I think, it felt great :).
In essence, it is about democracy and user influence, another move to spread the power and keep DeepOnion decentralized in all aspects not only untraceable and anonymous.

This is something that other ecosystems fails to do when ICO´s are executed with no or very high limits and huge bonuses for big investors. Many users on many platform lack all influence and every possibility to gain it. Many platforms and banks are built like a ponzi scheme, where new investors are always needed to keep it going, and the only way to gain influence is to buy it, meh! DeepOnion comes from the other direction, making buying the $ONION impossible until recently, great angle! or not impossible since bounties etc has been given since week 1, so there has been a small and growing circulating supply.

The vote central works nice and you can do assigned tasks from the same menu, very smooth. If you have a proposal for DO just add it in the voting central and see if the community wants to implement your ideas, democracy, without whales!

$ONION got a wallet which connects via the tor network, adding layers of security and anonymity. You can stake you $ONION by just letting the wallet run, but that's always how you stake i guess! The first year gives 10% payout and decreases to 5% year 2 and so on. I am staking some $ONION in my wallet and i am buying some more at KuCoin. It is a PoS system implemented so stake and help the network out, while you grow your investment, I sure will send the rest of my onion over there in the near future!

Deep vault

Another feature that DO offers, is the Deep vault, where you can add content for safe storage. It will be inscribed into the blockchain for ever and ever as well as making the information unchangeable. This is a must in times of fading democracy and fake news. If I would add some information, and someone would tamper with it, that would not go undetectable, since the info hash will be changed. This is a perfect place to store owner papers or contracts of any sort!

I am sure that many here have a lot of good ideas and/or like to promote good solutions to the decreasing privacy in our lives. I myself, feel that forcing us to use fully traceable credit cards( yeah I can't even pay in cash any more at many places around where is live) and logging all transactions, is an invasion of privacy. We have little to nothing to say about economics, the banks run the show and we idly sit by, but no longer are we forced to! Privacy coins, like $ONION offer ways to influence the ecosystem or economy in a democratic way, build in to the core of it.

My personal opinion on DeepOnion ?

The concept seems great, no whales and built in democracy :) I've used the wallet for a while and never had a problem, and they are listed at my favorite exchange KuCoin so i am buying a few $ONION from time to time. I won 50 $ONION for writing at their forum a week ago which was awesome, and the bounty program is very accessible, so I must give em a thumb up for that :) they truly welcome great contributors, unlike many other actors, or banks for that matters!

The DeepOnion forum is a great place to discuss things, like the future of cryptocurrency and especially DeepOnion. I would suggest that you come have a look if you haven't made an account already, it costs you nothing and you might both meet dedicated people and learn a thing or two.

As an investor, the supply of 13 million and max supply at 25 million $ONION makes it very appealing, and it has a big community behind it.

It has been sitting around 2 dollars for a while and position 300 on the coin market cap, but now we are moving to a new phase and i think we will surpass the ATH of 18 dollar in a not to distant future.

Why privacy coins, why democracy?

In history our governments or banks, have stolen our money many times, even our gold! I see not other way to keep our wealth when the economy comes collapsing then buying privacy coins that will hold value, and I think $ONION is one that will. Greece just got robbed by the world bank, Iceland came close to collapse due to fast growing dept but took control of the government and declared the dept illegal. Only iceland has been able to do this which proves that there is no democracy. Red or blue the banks still win the elections as long as we support the system. Perhaps Donald, T is wildcard not supported by the banks but who knows, lets see what happens, war or economical collapse. Which ever is the result of the system we have set in motion, I recommend to get some privacy cryptos and some gold & silver in the ground, not in a bank vault, they will take it all.

If a fair voting system and anti inflation mechanisms are not hard coded into our monetary systems, human nature and greed will always prevail, at least the way we act today. DeepOnion is a great step in the right direction so I support it to 100%
