Talent Protocol raises $1.75M to rethink the way we engage professionally with each other.

Lisbon, 21th December 2021 - Talent Protocol, a web3 platform where talent can easily launch a token to bootstrap their career (Talent Tokens), and where users can back people they believe in, has launched the beta version of its platform. The startup has also raised $1.75M from 58 individuals and 10 funds, including Protocol Labs, Good News Ventures and Flori Ventures, the company announced. “This milestone not only secured a 2-year runway to grow the platform, but it is also an important first step to make Talent Protocol community-owned”, says Pedro Oliveira, CEO and Cofounder of Talent Protocol.

Angels included Alex Masmej (CEO at Showtime and creator of one of the first social tokens: $ALEX), Diogo Mónica (Chairman at Anchorage), Hiten Shah (seasoned founder and investor in the Bay area, founder of Nira and KISSmetrics), Rene (Founder at Celo), Jason Choi (from The Spartan Group), Ganesh Swami (CEO at Covalent), Sanja Kon (CEO at Utrust), Hung Lee (Founder at Recruiting Brainfood), David Hoang (Head of Product Design at Webflow), and many others.

No advanced crypto knowledge is required to support talent, users can buy tokens within minutes with crypto or a credit card without platform fees.
