Unlike Slate I see it as a good sign, that more and more celebrities openly talk about cryptocurrencies. Whether is 50 Cents, who just found 700 Bitcoin he had forgotten about, or an image that's worth a thousand words...
WB has voiced that he doesn't support crypto as a "thing" but then goes on to say that's because he doesn't really understand blockchain or what it is.
We are going to see more and more popular/famous bringing crypto to the mainstream, which is good ... and bad (but mostly good:) )

Personally, I think it's a good thing, although it seems there are some who believe that celebrities getting involved means the bubble is about to burst. I think it's a little early for that...
