Coincap.io Not Playing Nice with Gecko (Firefox Web Browser)

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago  (edited)

While I’m still looking to Coincap.io to monitor the crypto prices on a daily basis, despite a serious issue raised previously on STEEMIT, I feel that it is my duty to warn my fellow crypto speculators of additional concerns. You see the other day, I was heavy into the trading action, when NEO kept moving up and down within the top ten rankings. Some how, my eye drifted left instead of right, and I began noticing that the ranking numbers themselves were actually jumbled.

Yes, the rankings were all jumbled up on Coincap.io. Admittedly, I was too stunned to even take a screenshot, with the pestering thought about needing to focus in order to make money rumbling around my head. I stared and it just stared right back, before finally scrolling down to a complete affirmation that I wasn’t seeing things.

The entire ranking was completely out of order, as in: 107 came just before 98. With no explanation or corrective action in my mind, I just closed the Firefox browser and moved along to the exchange open on a different browser. I had to trade, had to try to make some cash.

Today, I see the problem reappearing before my eyes, and I don’t intend to duck my responsibility of STEEMING the GRAND BELL OF ALERT TO MY COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF TRADERS out there in cryptoland. Watch out for this issue of ranking madness when you are checking Coincap.io for the latest moves in crypto prices. Obviously this is not intentional and is some sort of browser compatibility issue with Firefox — and possibly other browsers — running on a Mac. Although I have checked Safari, Chrome, Opera, and a few other browsers, different versions of these may render with the same issues; I am just not sure, as I don’t have exhaustive access to test them all. Therefore, heads up everyone, just make sure to check the coins you’re following closely — even the rankings relative to the upper and lower coins, lest you leap before you look.

All the best, and please show some lovin STEEM.
