IS IT BCC OR BCH OR WHAT?

Wow, Bitcoin Cash recently had one amazing bull run — and I personally still think the best is yet to come. Not to toot my horn, but I was running with those bulls, and even picked up some more Bitcoin Cash today when it dipped under $6, just getting ready to run one more time. Interestingly, while I was enjoying a little BE-SURE-AND-BUY-ON-THE-DIP MANIA, I noticed something peculiar, and I’m wondering is it just me? or must I research a new issue at every turn on the web today, especially in the crypto space. 

Today, for instance, I came across something about PI, and even that turned into an all day event — seriously, for it seems Tau is somehow better, with a proof video that showed the diameter being incorrectly divided by the circum (maybe you can spell it) — and wait, just wait, before we go over that lonely, dusty road again. Back to the glory, the glory of Bitcoin Cash.

I noticed that when I was checking coincap.io — as admittedly I do, and buying on the Bittrex exchange, I noticed a point of consideration, possibly of delusion. The following question emerged: Is BCC the same as BCH? Well then, what am I trading? My gosh, on Coincap.io the Bitcoin (ticker) is BCH, what? I could have sworn I was trading BCC. Upon returning to the exchange, it was confirmed: I was trading BCC. So, why then was I checking the price for BCH on Coincap.io?  The word amateur came to mind. But even coinmarketcap.com was showing BCH. So was it I who was the amateur — or was it, in fact, the pros-until-now-presumed?

To decide this bout, even quicker than the McGregor-Mayweather Fight, I turned to the Bitcoin Cash website at www.bitcoincash.org. And the winner is BCC by knockout, or at least it seemed to me. Who am I to question the official website? It states BCC clearly enough.
