Pornhub’s announcement today that they now accept Verge (XVG) as a form of payment has caused quite a buzz. The cryptocurrency can now be used to pay for premium content.

The porn industry has been the first to successfully adopt the latest technologies throughout the years from Super 8, VHS/VCR, internet, DVD, HD, Blu-ray, credit card payment pioneers and the latest VR goggles. The partnership between Pornhub and Verge is being viewed as something beneficial to the crypto community as it is believed that it will cause widespread adoption of cryptocurrency and the blockchain technology. Several pornstars will be hosting events in New York City and Silicon Valley to promote the partnership and will be giving away XVG. It should be noted that Playboy recently announced they would be launching an online wallet that can be used to pay for online content with cryptocurrency. It was also reported that Brazzers and Nataku, adult gaming portal, will also be accepting XVG as a form of payment soon.

With all this exciting news it is a wonder why did Verge dump so hard? I’d say part of it is that Verge hodlers haven’t seen a profit and now was their time, but what do you think?

They are on a the Verge of exploding. LOL

LOL the jokes will be too much

Id say that the price tanked because expectations were set way too high for this partnership and the community feels theyve been overhyped and a lot of people took profit from the hype pump!

I agree, people got profits out of this pump
