Thats realy true post the fud made down way for market because of the fake company active in this market same as bitcconect

Now it seems to be with Tether. All we can do is wait and see what occurs.

Doesn't help that another exchange was hacked. Coincheck. This is why I stick with the better known exchanges. Oh and hardware wallet

Regardless of the wallet you hold, if exchanges get hacked like Coincheck did and you're holding Them coins Best Believe that You're going to FEEL the affect JS!!

Oh yea i agree with you its just that the bigger exchanges have better security measures. But hard wallets are the way to go.

Definitely!!Absolutely!! Its Hard to even trust the Biggest! Couldn't Agree More that the Most Secure is Hard wallet!! As long as you keep your keys private its even Better than locked in a safe, buried, and covered with concrete!!

Makes me wonder how good Binance is security wise. You would think that these exchanges would see this happening. I imagine that 600 million dollars being transferred out would be noticed well before it hit that number. If not then they have an issue.

Right, I don't think any of them are completely safe. Just some better than others. If they are serious about their exchanges they would all have insurance for when things like this happens.

For sure. I read somewhere though that they had opted to use a less secure wallet for the coin that was stolen.

What a shame.

For exchanges I also recommend 2 factor authentication and don't keep it on them unless your planning to buy or sell soon. Overall best is to keep it in a wallet.

Pump and dumps like PAC. Eash I learned my lesson with that one I still kept a few hundred thousand to see what happens after they do their burn. I’m sure it will be underwhelming.

It was a big pump and dump i think it may rize after the coin burn ! but on a longer hold :)

Always go with hardware or paper wallets and only use big exchanges. Even tho they‘ve refunded everyone, it‘s safer to not store your money on exchanges 👍🏻

Thanks for the tips!

I already invest 10k, and hold for the year

Cryptocurrency is still in such an early stage that the markets are like the west. Pump and dumps, hackings, insane volatility, just hold through the birth pains and you will be very lucrative.

I agree. Have to be eyes wide open. It will take care of itself long term but short term the manipulation is risky. :-)

Keeping an eye on the tether situation atm and the impact it could have on the market.

Wow. I was discussing this last week with a group that I meet with every week. Obviously I didn't think it would happen today or would have pulled out last night. :-) I stayed in knowing that this probably would crash the market if/when it happened. Let's see how long it takes to come back.

On a different note, seems like this was an"on purpose" manipulation. It wouldn't take a PHD to manipulate a 500B market if you were a major news outlet or a youtuber with a ton of subscribers. :-)

Nice post!

"How low will Bitcoin go" is the question.
