WazirX, one of India's newest cryptocurrency exchanges, will be listing Bitcoin Cash on its platform today. Yesterday evening, WazirX shared a blog post introducing an order book indicator and a new coin on its platform. Earlier this morning, the exchange informed users through a tweet that Bitcoin Cash will be the fifth coin to be listed on its platform. The deposits for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) will go live from 1 pm today afternoon, and trading will begin 7 pm onwards. We expect BCH to list at around Rs 50,000 on WazirX. We will be dropping a video about it on our YouTube channel later tonight: www.youtube.com/cryptodost
WazirX had launched on March 8th with Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dash, and we had done a review of the platform on our YouTube channel:
Last week, the platform had listed Ripple (XRP), opening one more avenue for XRP investors in India:
With the BCH listing, the five coins available for trading on WazirX exchange are:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Dash (DASH)
- Ripple (XRP)
- Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
The exchange also plans to list its own coin called WRX in the future. This has excited a lot of cryptocurrency investors in India because it is the first time that an Indian exchange is launching its own coin. What's more, they have an exciting referral program which allows investors to accumulate WRX coins. There has been a lot of speculation about its price, features and the date of launch, but WazirX hasn't announced any details yet. Since it is a new exchange, it might be waiting for trading volumes and investor adoption to improve before it launches the WRX coin. We will keep a close watch on the developments, so do subscribe to our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/cryptodost
