Cryptoeval.com is an investment tool that helps you decide which cryptocurrencies are overvalued or undervalued. It currently evaluates over a thousand digital currencies.
It constantly checks metrics such as number of Twitter followers, or how many Facebook mentions a coin has, and then uses these values as predictors in linear regression models. The models are then combined based on which metrics are most statistically relevant. This allows us to calculate a Perceived Market Cap (PMC) and Perceived Price (PP).
Perceived Market Cap (PMC) is what we think the market cap is really worth.
Perceived Price (PP) is what we think the price should really be.
Comparing the PMC and PP to the real market cap and price of a given currency results in a percentage of how much we think it's overvalued or undervalued.
The site is still in development, and the algorithm is still based on a rather small data set. It will get smarter and more accurate over time.
