Steven Seagal, the New Worldwide Ambassador for "Bitcoiin 2nd Generation".

It may have been a long time since we have seen the B movie action Guru on the silver screen but now Steven Seagal has become the new Ambassador of Bitcoiin 2nd Generation. Steven recently announced on his offical Twitter page that he will front the New Cryptocurrency (B2G).
(B2G) will be launched on the Ethereum blockchain but their whitepaper fails to show how the new cryptocurrency will improve on the original bitcoin (BTC) model.

Can Cryptocurrency Rescue the Failing Venezuelan Economy?

On Tuesday 20th January the Venezuelan government launched the pre-sale of the "Petro", a new cryptocurrency backed by the countries oil reserves.
The exact aim of the Petro is to try and raise overseas investment for the struggling economy. Recently Venezuela has seen mass inflation, food and medical shortages as well as mass protests all over the country. The Petro will be the first ever state-issued cryptoasset.

Litecoin Cash (LCC) is up 409% on day one.

Overnight Litecoin (LTC) had a hard fork, resulting in the launch of Litecoin Cash (LCC). Owners of the original Litecoin at the time of the fork receieved 10 Litecoin Cash tokens for every LTC they owned.
Litecoin Cash is an upgraded version of Litecoin which has lower transaction costs and faster processing times.
Since its launch the feedback has been very encouraging and with an increase of over 400% in its first day of trading initial signs look positive.
There is still some speculation surrounding Litecoin Cash with some news sources claiming that LCC could be a scam. Please always do your own extensive research before making any investments.

Is Stellar Lumens (XLM) the future of Banking?

Stellar is an open-source payment distribution network. It uses "leapfrog technology" to link banks, payment systems and customers with a major focus on developing countries. It can aid the transactions of multiple currencies and assets for as little as a penny. It utilizes a cryptocurrency called Lumens (XLM) to bridge the divide between sender and reciever.
XLM is very similar to Ripple (XRP) but unlike XRP, Lumens is decentralised and not controlled.
Having partnerships with IBM and Tempo, the Stellar machine looks very impressive and in a busy hightech world Stellar Lumens could indeed be the future of banking.

Are VISA to Blame for Coinbase's Phantom Transactions?

Coinbase customers are still in the dark with regards to the recent unoffical transactions debited from their banks accounts by the cryptocurrency exchange. These withdrawls have allegedly left some users skint and facing bank charges. The San Francisco based company apologised and claimed it was not to blame. It later added that the "mysterious credit and debit charges were a result of Visa reversing and recharging transactions."
"This was not any action by Coinbase. We are working closely with Visa to clarify and arrange that all customers are reimbursed." The Rep also claimed Visa had changed the merchant category code (MCC) for digital currencies vendors, probably connecting the update to the unexplained transactions.
