I did an interview with CryptoDutchman (Twitter: @MarvCRYP) about CrypticCoin ($CRYP), a fairly new privacy-focused cryptocurrency.
To quickly get an idea about $CRYP, have a look at my 1-minute article: 'CrypticCoin in a nutshell'.
There is not exactly a shortage of privacy coins, what sets CrypticCoin apart from the rest?
CrypticCoin was designed for individual control and privacy at its core; in fact CRYP’s max. supply was based on Earth’s population, as recorded January 18, 2018 – basically one coin for every person on Earth! Our system allows [encourages] everyone to learn about Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies and, of course, the importance of privacy. CrypticCoin is engaging thousands of people from many different countries, no matter their politics, gender or economic — we exude positivity, and champion importance of privacy and security in the Crypto economy.
I quote from the website: “Our goal is to integrate the most proven privacy and anonymity technologies in CrypticCoin so that CrypticCoin can offer its users various mechanisms for ensuring transaction confidentiality.” How does the team keep up-to-date with proven privacy and anonimity?
We feel that privacy coins are definitely the future; there is a lot of centralization in the fiat economy, and the need to transact privately, in a way that truly democratizes everyone’s security and right to privacy, is becoming much more accessible thanks to Blockchain technologies such as ours. Our Developers have blended an enriched version of the ZeroCash Protocol with a hybrid version of Stealth Addressing – the particulars are outlined in our technical white paper. Further, the Developers are immersed in other aspects of privacy technologies, bolstering the system of security within the CrypticCoin ecosystem. IP Obfuscation and Condifential Transactions are currently available with CRYP; however, the introduction of Masternodes are imminent, and will provide an additional layer of integrity to the platform.
Do you feel worried about the way lawmakers look at privacy coins, and exchanges possibly delisting privacy coins for legal reasons?
We’re not so worried about that. The key is limited reliance on exchanges – we encourage and educate our community to use our wallets and to transact peer-to-peer, within our ecosystem. Our core advantage with CRYP is the privacy on-off feature, which enables total IP Obfuscation – for truly private [encrypted] transactions – or transparent, public transactions that are recorded to CrypticCoin’s public ledger unchanged [unencrypted]. Zcash is an example of the regulators approving a privacy coin.
For the less technical among us... what are infinity nodes and enhanced masternodes?
InfinityNodes are enhanced Masternodes. We called them InfinityNodes because we have a very nice reward system. All of the information will be linked on the website, so if you go to it, and look at mining page there will be an explanation on this very subject. In short, InfinityNode owners will receive 50% of the block reward; there are 576 blocks daily, this makes 47,520 CRYP per day to be distributed amongst the InfinityNode owners.
Can you tell something about the sapling update?
The sapling update helps to make our network lighter and faster. It allows our development community to develop additional products and enhancements, which ultimately serve CrypticCoin’s community. For example, If we would like to create a mobile app we would be able to do it easier, because the file size is smaller than before. It will be easier for vendors to implement CRYP in their businesses too – we are already noticing faster times for transactions and wallet syncing!
I use the Windows version of the CrypticCoin wallet on my pc, but you guys are also busy making a smartphone wallet, right? Tell us more!
The mobile wallet is in beta, and will becoming public very soon! Many other coins simply do NOT have the ecosystem, or the functionalities, that we have created essentially from scratch – we have a killer desktop wallet, featuring Windows, Linux and iOS; we have a mobile app on the way that will support Android and iOS. Stay tuned. We have some damn fresh-looking products if you ask me!!!
The team really puts effort into reaching out to the community. You have several international Telegram groups and you are active on numerous other social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, BitcoinTalk.... Is there a special reason that you invest so much of your time and energy into maintaining online relationships with users?
For Crypto to work, people must understand, and embrace, it. We like to compare Crypto to the beginnings of the Internet [1995] –everybody heard about it, but nobody really knew what it was or how it worked. This is the same with Crypto today. Yet, there is a small group of Crypto pioneers – that’s us! We are educating and engaging our community about Crypto; that is our mission first and foremost. The masses have to be educated first – the rest will fall into place! I have a classic YouTube video link of Plato’s cave. The team showed me this when I was a real Crypto rookie – I really felt that the metaphor expressed in that video. All of the people who are still living in the “cave”, deserve a chance to step “outside” and feel how nice the sun is on a man’s skin.
Will there be more exchanges in the near future where we can trade CrypticCoin (wen Binance?!??)?
Baby steps please! We are currently listed on four, quality exchanges, but always working towards new, better exchanges. This is a marathon, not a sprint. A solid coin, like CrypticCoin, needs time to build a rock-solid foundation; if we would go to Binance without a good foundation we could build high, and then tumble over! But, hey, if anyone knows CZ let him know that we have accomplished everything so far without raising one penny of ICO money!!! We have the support of an amazing, global online community that has a passion for Crypto and Crypto-education.
4 exchanges : 1 dead( wallets disabled for a long time) , 1 fake volume, 1 zero trade movement , 1 delisted.
Mine for free, and watch the coin dying without normal trading.
