Hello my fellow steemitians! We all are in the sea of green again. Are you ready for the next Bull Run!? (or a next bull trap…). Anyway a growing market is a good place for new projects. Coinmarketcap added several new projects at the beginning of the week. Let’s review them!
Before we go any further, I want to remind you this article is not a financial advice. I’m not a financial advisor of any kind. The article was created for solely entertainment purpose.
Fidelium (FID)
Fidelium is a cross-exchange trading platform (named “Fortress”) for cryptocurrency. Instead of using multiple accounts on several exchanges you will be able to use only one. This will allow you to choose where to buy/sell your tokens. As exchanges usually have price differences, you can buy at the cheapest price or sell at the highest. Sounds interesting, let’s take a look at it.
- Has a low 24h volume of $125 795 and is listed on a single exchange Coinrail.
- I don’t like the twitter account. It is not focused on the project, but rather post articles like is bitcoin a bubble. It also has less than 7k followers.
- Website looks simple, but god and informative.
- Telegram group is not big and has less than 11k members.
- Has a good rating of 4.0 on ICObench.
- Bounty thread on bitcointalk has 47 pages (plus several threads on other languages). I don’t see any airdrops.
I like the idea and a good rating. As we know some exchanges have very exclusive prices. At the same time exchanges will not like it. Regulators will not like it either as exchanges will be in different countries. So it hard to predict the future of this project. With a low volume we can’t expect any good price actions in the nearest future anyway.
Cortex (CTXC)
According to the official website the mission of this blockchain is “the state-of-the-art machine-learning models on the blockchain in which users can infer using smart contracts”. It will also implement a machine-learning platform that allows users to post tasks on the platform, submit AI DApps (Artificial Intelligence Decentralized Applications). Looks complicated? Well, It is.
- Has an insane 24h volume of $33 740 800 and it is listed on Huobi. Very impressive achievement and a bullish sign.
- Twitter is well managed, but has only 1,5k followers.
- I don’t like the site. It fails to describe the project good enough and has no style. It is nearly impossible to understand what partners do they have if you don’t know the language.
- Telegram has almost 48k members. The project has some attention.
- I don’t see profiles on major ICO hubs.
- I can see only 3 pages on bitcointalk and no bounty thread. There was an airdrop that explains the size of the telegram group.
The project has an awesome volume that promise positive price actions and high rank on CMC. At the same time the project doesn’t fit in proven marketing model for an ICO. It is also a very complex project from technical side. It is hard to tell if the team is able to develop it. I always advice not to invest into project, you don’t understand. I can’t say I understand this one.
Arbitracoin (ATC)
It is yet another payment system. As always developers claim it is better than bitcoin because of additional features. In this case it is arbitrage software and trading signals.
- Has a low volume of $401 359 and is listed on Stocks.Exchange only.
- Twitter account is normally managed, but has only 761 followers.
- Website is mostly focused on price prediction which is a very bad sign.
- Telegram group is tiny and has less than 1k members.
- Can’t find any valid profiles.
- Only 6 pages of discussion on bitcointalk. I don’t see bounties or airdrops.
I don’t position myself as financial advisor and it is not a financial advice. For me the project looks like total SCAM.
Wawllet (WIN)
WAWLLET's mobile and desktop application will allow you to manage all your fiat, crypto and commodities and transfer them to other people and accounts set in banks connected to the WAWLLET network in a fast, secure and easy way. An interesting idea, let’s go deeper.
- Has a low 24h value of $180 405 and is traded on Qryptos only.
- Has only 1 tweet in April and only 2,5k followers.
- Website is small and is basically used to give you a link to whitepaper.
- Telegram chat is rather small and has 7k members.
- Has rating of 3.9 on ICObench, but only from the bot. I don’t think we can trust the bot. ICO profile here is poorly written. According to ICobench it raised $55m on ICO and the price of the token was 3 USD. Now the price is 0.17 USD. I don’t think that data on ICObench is correct.
- I don’t see any good discussion on bitcointalk. There was a bounty with fixed payments and an airdrop. It seems that 50% dump in the price was caused by free tokens.
The idea is not bad, but I don’t see any execution or at least marketing. I don’t see any reasons to follow this project.
Apex (CPX)
Another platform to sell your data to companies, this time on NEO blockchain. As always it uses some AI data processing and so on.
- Has a normal volume of $1 107 920 is traded on Lbank.
- Can’t say the twitter account is very active, but still has 15k followers.
- I don’t like the website. It doesn’t actually explain the product. Have some partners though and a very long advisor board.
- Has 16k members in telegram group (global).
- A normal rating on icodrops. It seems it collected $25m on token sale. Currently traded at ICO price (in USD).
- As expected no actual discussion on bitcointalk. It had an airdrop. Some bitcointalk users claim it is a scam project.
We’ve already seen many projects with the same goal. I don’t see how this project can became more popular than previous ones. I also don’t like the idea of selling my data at all. I will stay away from this project.

There are enough people, like yourself, that alert the unsuspecting newcomer to projects with little merit. Personally, I want to see what they have achieved on Github, it's difficult to take them seriously otherwise.
I think we will see the end of the wild west with ICO's in the not too distant future. Thanks for the heads up on these.

I post these reviews to alert pure scam and give a short description of projects that can have value. The main goal is to save time for people who watch new projects. By reading my review they can get some highlights on the project and spend time only on the projects they find interesting and ignore all the others.
