Crypto News Flash # 67 : Bittrex, Bitfinex & Binance Have Temporarily Disabled New Registrations As The Demand For Crypto Surged !!

The rise of the cryptocurrencies have surged to a large extent that many cryptocurrency exchanges are not able to keep up with the customer numbers. Bittrex, the most popular exchange with tons of volume have already disabled customers registrations and even asked for KYC requirements from its existing customers. Poloniex also followed Bittrex in asking for KYC requirements from its customers. 

Now, the latest update is that Bittrex, Bitfinex and Binance, the top three exchanges in terms of volume have disabled the new user registrations. Although, Binance is still allowing users to register from time to time temporarily but not on a permanent basis. 

As per the source, 

Binance is adding 250k users per day while Coinbase is adding 100k users per day. Kraken is also adding over 50k users on a daily basis. 

If we talk about Bitfinex, a high volume exchange, it also recently halted its new registrations because of huge influx of users within last 2-3 months. 

It also released this statement recently:

“Thank you for your interest in opening a Bitfinex account. However, due to extraordinary demand, new account creation has been temporarily paused.Bitfinex focuses on serving professional traders. The reason we have decided to temporarily stop accepting new accounts is that we cannot undermine the quality of our services for our existing traders by flooding the system with new, small accounts.”  

The fixed date for the starting of new registrations has not been out yet but Bitnex stated that it will start adding new users after 15th January 2017. 

If you're a crypto trader/investor, try to set up an account over Kucoin & other available exchanges as they are still open for registrations.
