It's nice to see that companies such as CoinCheck (and Nicehash before them) have investors agree to fund the compensation for stolen funds. Shows that there are true big believers out there...and with big wallets. A win-win for all of us. (how much you wanna bet the thieves are from NSA...lol)

At least the exchange has agreed to compensate for the loss. I saw the news on BBC but no coin was mentioned, it's better you store some coins in the coinomi wallet and use only money you can let go for these investments.

This is so incredibly good for the community. Coincheck taking responsibility and making it right is so much more than just making it right for the users who lost their money, it's also legitimizing crypto currencies as a whole as far as safety concerns regarding asset saving. This is wonderful news!
