I've seen many users pay randowhale 2 steems and get less in upvotes than what they paid, which causes them to lose money. I think this bot is taking advantage of the steem monetary system and using it as a business that doesn't benefit this community. I personally think this should be banned and only allow users to use Steemit for blogging purposes.
From now on i am going to flag randowhale's comments and you guys should too! This is just my opinion and if you use randowhale I am not criticizing you in anyway, I just think the account alone is bad for steemit and the people who use it get ripped off
Gambling is legal. I vote no; randowhale should not be banned.

Careful Ahab, you're going after a big robot whale there 🤖🐋. I only ever use him to upvote others so never paid much attention to the conversion, but the odd time I've wondered if I wouldn't have done better just to send that 2sbd directly to the person.

Never tried randonwhale. I tried @promoted. Looks fair to me.
Im relatively new here so i cant really say if there was a time when randomwhale is totally worth it.

Steem doesn't really work like that. Accounts can't be "banned." Welcome to the Blockchain!

That's true. Currently I also start using it less and less. I want to come to a point where I don't have to use it at all.

I have been thinking recently that there should be some type of captcha every so many comments you leave. I mean before you know it every blog posted within 10 seconds are going to have a billion bots saying absolutely nothing of value. Seems to take the human aspect out of this site...

The bots are a step in the centralization of steemit. Don't use them. I use one to remember to upvote my faithful followers. Mainly because I can't follo their every move.

I have used randowhale a few times. Made a little more back than I paid. The percent of pay out is random but is better than some of the contests where there is no guarantee of any return. I just tried @minnowbooster Delegated Steem Power (SP) Leasing. "To lease Delegated SP, just send STEEM (at least 1 STEEM) to @minnowbooster and get 65 times the amount in delegated SP for one week." I sent 2 steem and I am waiting for the boost. "Your delegation request for 1 weeks 130.0 SP is in the process of being filled. If it can not be filled within 3 days, it will be returned to you." If that works I will try to curate and post enough to make it back. Looking for leverage to get me up the food chain. I will look into the other couple things mentioned in the comments.
