Beware of Arcticcoin!

Don't be led by temptation!

No that isn't meant in some religious way, I am referring to the potentially awful investment that is Arc! A lot of people look superficially at crypto currencies and don't do due diligence before investing. Arc (not to be confused with Ark) first came to my attention on http://masternodes.pro and at first glance you might think to yourself that it is a license to print money. First your eyes will most likely be drawn to the ROI of 189.14% and the cheap price of $110 for the "masternode" (it isn't really a masternode, its more like PoS).

Looks good, thats the problem?

Well first of all, Arc is not viable, with a coin supply of 23940935 and with a lack of demand, even if a handful of people start buying up Arc with the intent of setting up masternodes, there are not enough active buyers to buy the massive 198% ROI that will flood the market. Which in turn will devalue Arc to the point where your ROI diminishes all the way down to 0%.

Arc has been pumped and dumped a few times in it's history, which will make some people run away and some people come to it, which in turns means a disproportionately high level of investors could end up either pump and dumpers or people trying to make a quick buck from pump and dumpers. This is a problem for the long term stability of a coin and will give the coin a bad reputation. This is a risk for any people who plan on investing long term in a coin.

The forums for Arc are all in Russian, this is a problem of varying levels depending on your views. If you have a natural distrust of Russia then this is a deal breaker, but for people who care purely about profit, like me, I don't like not being able to read and participate in announcements and discussions about a coin and can be an issue for troubleshooting, especially for a coin with very little participation.

Conclusion

I could be wrong, nothing is ever sure in crypro, but for me Arc is a no go. There are too many points that I see as a problematic and the general lack of interest makes me conclude that Arc is a shitcoin. Let me know your opinions on Arc and add more info in the comments section!

Happy Investing

Very good post brother, please vote, you would help me a lot, I wish you much success! Thank you

There are both a Slack and a Discord community where announcements are done in English, by the Core team. The website is currently being rebuilt to be more foreigner-friendly. I suggest that you check the Reddit for future announcements.

BTW the ROI is only virtual, any coin value would drop if everyone sold his masternode rewards.

The community is full of 350+ members on both the Discord and Slack. So what you say is only the proof that you did not dig enough into the project.

Cheers,
