The Road to 100 000 dollars! Week 4 : Attack of the bulls.

One week later we are still nowhere.
The week started out to be quite an attack of the bulls! The G20 summit has decided not to vote for new regulations on cryptocurrency. But this doesn’t mean there will be no regulation in the future. It’s just been postponed to July 2018.
This news , which is weak , was the beginning of a bull run to higher highs and higher lows. Volume did increase. But not enough.
The bull run faced major resistance at 9200 dollars. The last few days we’ve been declining.
Now we’re at 8600 dollars with low volume. Will we go back up? I don’t think so. Not for now.
I see nog big reason why we should go up in the short term. Regulations will hit us sooner or later.
I think a lot of investors are also still waiting for the right time to invest in cryptocurrency. The risk is too high at the moment because the market is bearish.

One other thing I want to talk about is FOMO. Fear of missing out. I felt this emotion quite strongly on Monday. Bitcoin , along with the whole cryptocurrency market , gained a lot on this day. I saw some coins gaining 30 or 40%. My emotions almost took over. I felt the need to invest. I did not want to be too late.
Luckily, I convinced myself not to do anything.
This is why :

• If you see coins gaining 40% , you will already be too late to invest. It will drop the next day because of people taking their profits. This will almost always happen.
• Think of the short to mid-term picture. The market is still bearish. We will probably see more bad news and prices will drop.
• My investing strategy consists of weekly analysis. I do my analysis on Fridays , after that I decide if I want to invest. This way I ignore all the noise that happens in between.

Today we are Friday and guess what happened. Prices dropped again.
Think with your head not with your heart.

I do will invest a small amount of cash in each of my coins. Prices can drop more. But it’s still a good price to invest if you are long term kind of guy ( or woman) like me. I expect new all time highs at the end of the year.
