After numerous hours of searching on the internet to find a breakdown of cryptocurrencies by sector and the closest thing I have found is the picture above. Hence, I have come here - has anyone got a source/have put something together on their own accord that splits the entire market into sectors?
I think a breakdown would be very useful, especially when comparing competitors. Bitcoin itself, has so many Altcoins that are trying to copy it or solve a problem with it, however there is no complete list of this. It would also be useful to be able to run an analysis by sector and create a universal benchmark to investigate what coins are under/over performing in their sector, which is a much more useful comparison than looking at past performance.
Would be very interested in this too. Especially the gambling related ones.
