As you know I have started an investigation on Genesis mining, to see whether it is actually not better to buy coins directly at the exchange vs mining coins via Genesis Mining.
May 1st 2017 was the starting point to check on a monthly base whether my assumption is correct that the difficulty would increase averagely on a monthly base with 24%, thus means your daily amount of dash will decrease with the same amount.
Thus over the period of 2 years you would receive less coins compared to whenever you have bought coins directly at the exchange for the same amount of money you would have spend on Genesis Mining.

I bought a ETH contract last year from Genesis Mining and I quickly calculated that I would get about half of what I could have if I bought it out right. After a year I found out that I was right I paid about $37 in BTC last year when ETH was about $10 so I could have bought 3.5 ETH but instead I got the mining contract and made a little over 1.6 ETH. The only way to make more than just purchasing the coins is to get a bunch of people to sign up under your affiliate program and I feel like that is what lots of these You Tube channels do.

I'm not surprised. There are so many posts of genesis mining and affiliate links lately, there is just too much noise about it, and triggers my noise to content warning flag :-)

I said the same thing when i saw Genesis mining offers.There is no point in buying their contract.Ill rather buy coins on exchange and that's it.
