Hi Steemit Community ☮
The problem is well-known: you are at a festival or a folk festival and in the midst of large crowds long lines stand out in front of the cash machines. After a long wait you have to pay at the machine also still charges. An Irish Startup would like to address this problem now.
Bracelet instead of cash:
The Irish startup Bitcart is now developing a bracelet called "Festy". This bracelet allows payments with Dash, currently the sixth-largest digital currency with a market capital of 1.1 billion euros.
The bracelet comes with NFC and QR code therefore, and is intended to make the wallet and mobile phone unnecessary. In the next big Dash update the transaction costs should be drastically minimized again - the ten cents should then cost transactions.
Advantages can also arise for traders. Traditional banking providers charge a fee of 2 - 5% on the accepted payments, something that falls in the case of a Dash payment.
Especially in places where large masses of people come together, it is difficult to focus on the good folk festivals at the same time while at the same time taking care of their valuables. Thousands of festivals offer thieves a lucrative goal, because in the tent camps one can move freely and hardly anyone would close his tent.
The bracelet can be used at every cash desk where you can pay with Visa without any contact. In addition, the bracelet allows payments to smartphones or computers using NFC, as well as offline payments via QR code.
A list of festivals that Festy will use as a prototype can be found on this link: http://entertainment.ie/festivals/
Festy will also appear as an official prototype in the third quarter of this year. Here is the link to the Festy website:

I hope that all the information above will be useful for you, if you have more information please leave it in the comments.
