Using your cryptocurrency in everyday use

Cardano(ADA) was one of my first cryptos I purchased after I started Dipping My Toe Into Cryptotrading. I don't have a lot of it, only 200 coins, but I would like to get up to 1,000 coins as I buy low and sell high and buy more.

Today, it is ranked #5 for market capitalizations on Cryptocurrency Market Capitalizations

And, it is a bit down, which means it is probably a good time to get some, if you have extra funds lying around.

This morning, Cardano sent a Tweet about their updated Roadmap. They have added a few new things to the Roadmap. One of those things is Debit Cards.

Right now there are very very few cryptocurrency debit card for several reasons. And as @dragosroua posted, using them is still a bit risky.
Bitwala Cards Canceled With Zero Days Notice, Users Left With Locked Funds

Shop with Cardano

They are already setup a place holder site for the Debit Card.

Spend Ada just as you would any other currency, by using a Cardano debit card. Once you have applied for and obtained your card, you will be able to send Ada from your Daedalus wallet to load your Cardano debit card. The funds will automatically be converted into the local currency of your choice, for example Yen or Yuan. You can use the debit card to pay merchants as you normally would, whether it be with online retailers or in bricks and mortar stores.
The chip and pin Cardano debit card will be linked to an app, which you can use to keep track of how much Ada is on your card and the transactions that you have made. Full details about how to get your Cardano debit card will be provided here soon.

Of course, Cardano(ADA) is already on ATMs in Asia.

If guesses were wishes and wishes came true, I would guess that Cardano will be the first cryptocurrency with a safe, secure and reliable Debit Card.

I've been lookin' at this one for a bit and want to dip my toes. Do you know if they have any legit faucets? Where did you buy from?

It is on Bittrex and Binance.

Thanks brother I'm on it. I really like this one. Great post and reminder............

You're welcome.

Cardano is an amazing altcoin, managed to get a lot at 50 cents :)

If I had a lot more to buy with, I would have gotten a lot more when it was much lower than $0.50.

Can´t sell them anyway :) dam wallets been down for ages @bittrex during updates i guess.

Have they fixed the useless wallet ? Daedalus...

You can trade them on Bittrex without going through the wallet link.
You just can't withdrawl or deposit.

I think.

Yeah...the Daedalus promise seems a bit slow.

hrm that was true! just tried it :) thx

Hopefully you saved the $0.01 on the price since this post. LOL

:)

I'm waiting for Cardano to drop to the last level of support. I imagine it will hit that first level of support bounce maybe 20 - 40% and then drop to the next level (will do a small test buy).

The next support level is where I'll enter and anything below that is where I'll accumulate. Wishful thinking of it going down that low again maybe, but I'm in no rush because of what I'm worried about below.

1 thing that worries me about alts right now is the bitcoin incline on the 1 day chart. In about a week unless it the 1 day closes below and breaks that trend line we'll be possibly looking at $20k bitcoin again.

If you want me to shut-up and don't care about my opinion let me know. I feel like I'm going around telling people to quit trading because I see a lot of people loosing a lot of money in the next few months. I bought the highs this summer and am just now being able to take profits on some coins.

BTW, I bought 200 Cardano, sold it and turned around and bought 400 and still had change, then sold 200 so I could get into something else.

The 200 I have are bought in at 0.00001050. I'm still up close to 475% right now. I'm not worried if BitCoin shoots up. Also, not really worried, since I've been using my Steem earnings to buy other coins. Nothing really lost.

I've never really bought any crypto either so the only I've ever lose is time lol, but feel it's worth it for the experience.

Oh... no need to shut up.

Heck, if I time it right and am able to get more Cardano at $0.85, I would be happy.

As far as the BitCoin breaking $20k... not today, not tomorrow, but soon.

I was just talking to a friend yesterday about Cordano. Am a fan and user of debit cards, and if it could be put to use in everyday application, seems like a winner.

Like I put in the title, it is The Holy Grail of crypto.

The worst part of crypto right now is converting it to a currency that can be used. With Cardano's quick processing and low fees for transactions, having a Cardano card for spending crypto would be the best. But, like the rest of the cards, they have to stay on the good side of Visa/MasterCard to get it to work.

Very interesting post. It's good to see debit cards going out. Turning crypto into a useable alternative to fiat.

There are a few right now, but there are still some issues.
It's all about getting pass the regulation hurdles.

agreed. all part of the process.
