Mark Zuckerberg recently made his new year post, that he will be dedicating more time in learning about decentralization and how to integrate it into their system in solving global challenges, it was quickly accepted with jubilation in the Facebook community, whereas, the Crypto community was not too excited about it.

Cryptocurrency Minimalists and Maximalists alike, understand Mark as a villain and what he stands for as totally amoral to crypto.

Facebook is one of the most profitable companies in the world, yet they never charge you money to use their platform. You can use Facebook as much as you have data. However, you and I are the product they sell. They sell our data to advertisers to make money; which is giving up your privacy. This is entirely why we have crypto today. To say NO to censorship. NO to giving up our privacy without our consent.

In crypto, we are very much concerned about our privacy. This is not to discredit or discount Mark's contribution to the society in any way, but in the Crypto community we are watching keenly.

Google-backed Ripple (XRP) is an almost perfect example of how privacy visions will cunningly that Decentralization to centralization in a swift attempt to hijack the process and kill Satoshi's true vision.

We are all aware of how Mark hijacked the idea "Facebook" from the Winklevoss twins. Suffice to say that the Winklevoss twins have been such wonderful partners in the process of achieving large-scale bitcoin adoption. They continue to invest in this project and are revered in the Bitcoin community.

Is Mark really what the crypto community needs now?
