In my opinion, I really dont like Tron, it had such an unhealthy growth. Their CEO posts all sorts of hype messages on twitter. No real announcements, he doesn't act professional although he should be while his token once had 18billion market cap. It might have a future but it was definetely overpriced!
Reddcoin I like, it can also be an enormous gamechanger in the social media world. It could get big, for sure. agree on that.
Vechain I am very bullish on! They seem very professional. They have a very strong team. Vechain has a very big reach in asia and a great network. The project it self is going to help a lot of businesses. definetely a great buy for now. They also have partnership announcements this month. AND they are going to have a rebranding this month, not just their name but also their whole economic platform structure. I suspect a lot of movement for Vechain the coming months.

these are all super interesting, but i think ether will get close to bitcoin in market capitalization this year, or maybe even surpass it. the vast majority of blockchain-based applications runs on ethereum - which is not likely to change very sonn. of course there are some up runner-ups - and some of them will flourish as well - but eth will be a top 1-3 currency for quite some time.

I like your picks with the exception of Tron and Reddit. Tron has too much hype and nothing tangible. Reddcoin seems nice, i don't like the supply. I would suggest reading up about blockchain technology and purposes/functions of different coins. If you are interested in trading/buying and holding you will need to open an account where you can buy coins for $/£/Euros or another currency. If you want to access these less known coins (altcoins) you will probably have to open accounts on one of even a few different exchanges where these coins are exchanged for other cryptocurrencies. I would have to disagree and say they aren't the best at least for short-term gain, some of them have very dubious long-term prospects as well. You want to find small coins that haven't been pumped yet if you're looking for quick in and out fast money, not just five coins that have already done extremely well very recently. They typically get dumped a little and the price stays around where it is or drops in the case of coins with price action like these.

Glad to hear that you got involved in Vechain but always be wary of getting into cryptos without knowing enough about them. Vechain is a coin that has support in the upper levels of China and from what I can gather is they may implement it in one of their newer cities. Some of the major benefits of the coin are that it reaches into the real world by using RFID tags. For example, if you wanted to buy a high-end bottle of wine for a few hundred dollars you'd like to know that it's not just a two dollar wine that you just paid for. So in order to verify that bottle of wine an RFID tag would be placed on it and all data, delivery schedules, etc. will be part of the blockchain to help track authenticity of that bottle.
