Crypto journey

Hi, nice to meet you.

While I'm not new to the concept of Crypto currency, I'm a new investor and like a lot of other people, I wish I had gotten into in back in 2010 which I became aware of the concept. Oh well.

Since investing, I've noticed a change in myself, the way I spend my time and my perspective on finance. Being aware of this, I figured I would try to document my journey as a simple way of tracking my thoughts and emotional state of the whole concept, if nothing more than to keep perspective and just keep me grounded.

A bit about me, I'm relatively young (mid 30s), married, and a loving family. I work in the tech space, and would consider ourselves to be, not so much financially set, but on the right path. We own our home, have other homes and property and money in the bank, well into shares and now Crypto. This is by no means a session of measuring financially ego, but mentioning where we are at I feel will give perspective on the journey.

I love my family, tech, new business ventures and ideas. I respect hard work, risk, and good people (i.e. not wankers!) and I pride myself on respecting other people's positions and situations.

Enough about me... I've invested what I consider to be a modest amount in Crypto in September 2017 on my daughter's birthday in fact. Started in Bitcoin and etherium, then recently got into alt coins and tokens just before the December moon which has proven to be profitable. I love the concept of some of these businesses being built on block chain; game changing and want to be apart of it.

Since starting, I've achieved approx 400% profit which when compared to traditional financial markets is quite amazing, but nothing compared to what others have achieved. In my short stint, I find myself looking at the value more and more, it's getting a bit scary as to how much I'm drawn to it. Gees, I can see how this could ruin relationships long term... Need to keep that on track, keep you posted.
