Safex Migration

Safex ( Safe Exchange Coin) is doing a migration to its own blockchain. it has been about 1 month, but the number of migrated coins are currently around 10 percent of the total. If you own some Safex you need to migrate the coins and you will get the new Safex tokens, and also an airdrop of Safex Cash at ratio of 1: 0.0023

I think the time for migration is 1 year, so no hurry at this time i guess, I don't want to be the first because if there is a problem some people would have posted in discussion somewhere, i also don't want to be the last as i might forget about the deadline

These are the steps i took to Migrate my Safex Coins

Firstly Visit safex.io and click 'Get the wallet' to download Wallet version V0.0.7 which has the Migrate function in it

You will need some BTC in your Safex wallet to perform the transactions, approximately 0.0005 on my first attempt and then the second one it was less, only around 0.0003

Open the wallet and click migrate on the top right

And then choose the address you want the coin to migrate from (You can have multiple addresses in one Safex wallet) And click 'Migrate'

Read the terms and conditions and click I understand and proceed

Then choose new address

This will be your new address where the coins will be migrated to on the new Safex blockchain. After you click new address your address information will be displayed, then choose "Backup" and save the txt file or you can print or screenshot if you like.

Click set first half

It will tell you how much BTC you would need , and then wait and refresh until the pending BTC becomes zero, it may take several minutes depending on the network

Click Set second half

Make sure you have the needed amount of BTC, and again wait few minutes and refresh until pending BTC becomes zero

Final Step Burn old Safex

Enter the amount of Safex you want to burn and click send , make sure you have the required amount of BTC to perform. Check the target Migration address is the correct one also. It should be address that you have saved in your TXT file along with the keys

Again wait a few minutes and refresh, safex balance would become 0 but don't panic, wait a few more minutes and refresh again, and your migrated balance would appear under the migration table beside your old safex balance that should be 0 now

I believe the Safex team will release a wallet version V0.0.8 that will allow us to move the new coins and tokens
