Today almost everyone in the world has heard of Bitcoin, the digital payment system and electronic money. Bitcoin is a digital currency that has a decentralized peer-to-peer payment network (P2P).
Satoshi Nakamoto is often cited as the inventor of Bitcoin. He has conducted a series of experiments with Bitcoin software before introducing it to the public in January 2009. On January 3, the first Bitcoin block was created, marking the start of Bitcoin. Then on January 9, 2009, Nakamoto has released the updated Bitcoin software version 0.1 in Sourceforge.
In its development Satoshi Nakamoto created the Bitcoin.org site, which he used to collaborate with other developers. But Satoshi Nakamoto's figure remains a mystery because he never disclosed any personal information while working with other developers. After two years of working together, Satoshi Nakamoto has surrendered his leading position to Gavin Andresen, and stopped all his involvement in the project in December 2010.
Satoshi Nakamoto appeared once again on April 23, 2011, when he emailed a software developer, Mike Hearn, saying:
I've turned to something else. Bitcoin is in good hands with Gavin and everyone. "From then on no one knows what Satoshi is doing, as reported by Cointelegraph.com
Who is developing?
Many developers continue to work on Bitcoin. The Bitcoin Core project has a large open source developer community with many contributors doing research, peer reviewing, testing and so on. But all can not work without the manager, who has access and feel responsible for incorporating the input of the contributors. They also carry out final checks to ensure that the insert is secure and fits the project's objectives. There are three of the most famous Bitcoin Core developers: Wladimir J. van der Laan, Jonas Schnelli and Marco Falke.
From 2010 to 2014, the main developer of Bitcoin is Gavin Andresen. He was originally a 3D graphics developer and virtual reality software. In 2010 he was involved in the development of Bitcoin.
Satoshi Nakamoto chose him to be the main developer of Bitcoin Core. Two years later, Gavin started the Bitcoin Foundation to support crypto development. On April 8, 2014, he has handed over his duties to Wladimir J. van der Laan.
In April 2013, Jonas Schnelli became another Bitcoin Core developer, and one of the founders of a hardware Bitboxin Bitbox hardware digital Bitbox. He also created libbtc, a Bitcoin library available for almost any OS.
One year later, Wladimir announced Marco Falke as "the new Testing & QA manager for Bitcoin Core." In his speech, van der Laan praised Marco's success in the testing framework, increasing range and other important capabilities.
Developers want to make modern software. The number of Avast updates has been added to the Bitcoin software over the years: user-friendly version of Linux and Qt, LevelDB, seeding nodes via IRC and so on. Finally, from version 0.9.0 the software was renamed to Bitcoin Core. So far, the latest update is Bitcoin Core version 0.14.2 which was released on June 17, 2017.
Core developers prefer to focus on Blockchain as a highly decentralized system, which gives them more flexibility. They tend to make software that can avoid risks.
Biography or fiction?
The Japanese satoshi Nakamoto, born on April 5, 1975. If we try to translate his full name into English, we will get a very symbolic phrase: Fast in the foundation. "Satoshi" stands for smart, wise, Naka means in, and Moto is the abbreviation of the foundation.
But that is just one of many possible translations. Another way to translate it is "born from ashes" for Satoshi and "middle ground" for Nakamoto, all of which can be interpreted as "Born from concentration ashes." Of course, this is all a guess, and his name may have just been chosen randomly.
Because the identity of the inventor Bitcoin is uncertain, such as Charlie Lee or Hal Finney and Dorian Nakamoto. Satoshi's Satoshi's true candidate. Although the mystery of the inventor Bitcoin is still unsolved, but the potential and benefits of Bitcoin continue as demand grows rapidly, and is developed by many bright developers in the Bitcoin community.
