Hello everyone, I have just taken the leap into the crypto currency market by starting with two mining rigs composed of 6 GTX 1060, 6 gigs each. My friend and I have ordered all of the materials, made all of the plans and are now waiting for the materials to arrive! I am so excited I don't even know what to do with myself!!!! I am also looking into investing into crypto with some capital. I am looking forward to sharing ideas about investing and mining with everyone! I hope we can share info, build pics and crypto favorites with each other. Soon as we get some materials here I will start posting pics of our build. Hopefully we can get some advise and give some as well!

Definitely interested to hear more on this. I'm sitting at a friends house with a fully functional miner running. I think he said it cost 10k? They aren't something you want to keep in your bedroom, that's for sure. The sound of money has changed!
But I'm curious what a build yourself system has cost you so far?

Ahh super cool!! We dropped about 5,200 USD on all of the materials to run the 2 rigs. The hashing power should be good. I am going to wall off a small area in my upstairs and run a window ac, and a few small fans. I think our idea for cooling is going to work well. According to NiceHashMiner, we should see a return on investment in 4-5 months!!!!

That's awesome! I believe the person I am referring to spent 10k because of his impatience, and inability to build the product himself lol. But your miners sound like they will be just as good as the one he purchased. At that rate of return, I would buy any day for sure.

Nice, welcome to the addiction! I'm also into mining, currently using 2-1080s and 2-1080ti with plans to expand. I used Nicehash for a while, and while it's good for starting out, eventually you'll want to join another pool. You'll earn a lot more and also have more control over your payouts.
