Hello, folks today I will show you how to make some money using an old Android phone.
Yes, you head me well do you remember your old phone that you throw it away because the battery it's not good enough or your screen it's broken? yeah dose day's a screen its more expensive than a new phone, but don't be sad I will show you how to convert your "scrap" into a gold mine, so go and open that drawer that’s become an electronics graveyard, get that sucker on a charger, and read on to see how to quickly and easily get it set up to mine.
If you will follow my step by step how to you will see that it's better to put your old phone to work for you than to sell it for nothing.

First of all, in case you don't know almost all Android devices run on top of *Unix, so you have already the base for your miner.
We’ll cover GNURoot Deb here. GNUroot utilizes proot to run a pseudo-root environment alongside Android OS. This method doesn’t require any special permissions, so unrooted devices are good to go!

So let's get started:
First, you need to go to Play Store, it depends on how long it passed since your last use, you may need to update it. Then you need to search for GNURoot Deb download it and Install it. (the logo it's like an Android with a bullhead).
Now that you have a terminal you need to be sure that your Linux version it's up to date and so for this you have to type this commands:
apt-get update and when it's done type this one apt-get upgrade

Now you need to install some dependencies:
sudo apt-get install automake autoconf pkg-config libcurl4-openssl-dev libjansson-dev libssl-dev libgmp-dev make g++ git libgmp-dev

Now we need to download the miner, and we will make this using the command git to clone it from GitHub
git clone https://github.com/magi-project/m-cpuminer-v2

Now let's go to the specific folder and to configure the Miner! To make that you need to type this command:
cd m-cpuminer-v2
./autogen.sh
CFLAG="-O2 mfpu=neon-vfpv4" ./configure
make

Now you are good to go! You just need to set up your miner to the specific pool where you want to mine.
If you don't have selected a pool where to mine, you can access this link and select a pool from this list.
https://poolinfo.systms.org/#pools Now you need to make an account and set up jour worked and you are good to go!

To start mining, you need to use this command :
./m-minerd -a m7mhash -o stratum+tcp://pool.url:port -u yourusername.worker -p worker password

You then need to change "Yourusername.Worker and Worker password" to reflect your own account. Eg, "-u Steve.StevesWorker -p StevesWorkerPassword"

Congratulations now you can earn some $ mining Coin Magi XMG and you have learned some Unix command's :D

Note, for the future you must be in the m-cpuminer-v2 folder to can start the miner by using the command mentioned above.

On some Phones, you can remove your battery and keep the phone on the charger.
If you are using a Samsung Note 7 be careful they have serious battery problems!
Some phones significantly drop in performance when the screen turns off. Try enabling "screen always on when charging" in the developer options.
