Pledgecamp is a crowdfunding platform that incorporates blockchain technology for security and accountability. They aim to utilize smart contracts to bring positive disruption into the space. Disrupting a multi-billion dollar industry is no mean feat.

Jae Choi, CEO

As the CEO of Pledgecamp, Jae is responsible for Pledgecamp's vision/mission, strategy, business development, and finances. Before this, he was an investment banker and product manager at Ustream (acquired by IBM). Jae is an active angel investor in projects such as Robinhood, Circle, Talkdesk, Soothe, etc. He also happens to be an advisor to several blockchain projects. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Economics and minor in Business Administration on a full scholarship.

Eddie Lee, President

Eddie Lee is an experienced hardware, blockchain, and crowdfunding entrepreneur. He graduated from The University of California, Berkeley with a dual degree in Business Administration and Rhetoric. As a seasoned crowdfunding advisor with a track record of raising millions of dollars for various startups, Eddie helped oversubscribe the team's funding round to bring Pledgecamp to fruition. When he's not innovating the crowdfunding industry, he spends his time as an expert speaker and writer. His notable presentations include events at UC Berkeley, Kickstarter, and Backerkit. Additionally, he serves as a SkyAdvisor at UC Berkeley's prestigious startup accelerator, SkyDeck.

Samuel Pullman, CTO

Sam Pullman, the CTO of the company, received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Berkeley, California. He is immensely experienced in Android/iOS and was a Web Developer in the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. During his time at UC Berkeley, he also served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant.

Randi Zuckerberg

Randi Zuckerberg is an entrepreneur, investor, bestselling author, and tech media personality. She is the CEO of Zuckerberg Media, editor-in-chief (EIC) of Dot Complicated, and former Director of Market Development at Facebook. She is also the founder of Sue’s Tech Kitchen, an innovative tech-themed dining concept for families. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Harvard University.

Zuckerberg on Pledgecamp:

Matt Curcio

Matt Curcio is the V.P. of Data at Ripple, the third-largest cryptocurrency in the world. Curcio has was previously Chief Data Scientist at Neustar, where he led a team focused on - Marketing data and algorithms (adTech), Data Science for new products, and thought leadership on Identity algorithms. Additionally, Curcio sits in advisory roles for many startups in the Bay Area and has advised on Big Data reports to the Executive Office of the President of the United States. He also has a deep interest in Intellectual Property and holds patents in the AdTech space as well as Apparel tech and data privacy.

Keith Teare

Keith Teare is the founder and executive chairman at ADV (Accelerated Ventures) and the Founding Shareholder of TechCrunch. A serial entrepreneur, he has worked with governments (including China and the US), investors, boards, partners, customers, advertisers, bankers, and ecosystem stakeholders. He has also served on many boards.

Ryan Scott

Ryan Scott is a serial entrepreneur, humanist, and philanthropist. He is the CTO and co-founder of The Layer Group, which helps real estate owners protect and monetize their intellectual property in Augmented Reality. He is also the Chairman and Founder of the Causecast Community Impact Platform. Causecast is a software and service combination that helps corporations engage their employees in corporate philanthropy and workplace volunteerism. He is an investor and advisor to many innovative companies.

Sungjae Hwang

Sungjae Hwang is a serial (and parallel) entrepreneur, investor and inventor. He is a partner of Futureplay, a top-tier startup accelerator in South Korea and CEO of FoundationX, a building platform for blockchain projects. Before these companies, Hwang founded several startups. He served as Chief Product Officer at Fluenty Inc., an A.I. chat-bot startup that was acquired by Samsung Electronics in 2017. He is also a co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Pium Labs Inc., a New York-based IoT startup that is innovating a scent diffuser.

Conclusion
