Where the REAL 51% attack has been planned to come from... And do these events spell out an non-decentralized community?

With segwit2x "holding off", and bitcoin due for a steep correction..

I believe Segwit2x team has been working with BCH to preform a 51% attack from that direction.

This looks like the election to me. Bait and switch.

I know this feeling, like it was nov 4 2016 all over again.

With the momentum BCH has gotten, and BTC on it's road to it's biggest downturn.. Could we see BCH flip over?

Here's my contribution to you all. I've spent all day researching and these are the most prominent signs I've found.

I’m saying this is some crazy stuff. All my sources in IRC are going batshit over this, there is some very non-decentralized spirit trading going on right now.

https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/7cazfq/lol_censorship_dam_cracked_wide_open_on_rbitcoin/

The reddit for BTC is apparently being censored right now, there’s an agenda even with the person holding these keys. Something beyond free trading is going on. Fake tethers could have been fabricated to leverage these swings.

And someone is currently DDoSing the BTC network, over 104k transactions unconfirmed.

Now, I knew that the network would be psychologically under attack. However, this is insanity.

If any of these factors are the case, this is pure, IRRESPONSIBLE, UNDENIABLE, GREED.

I hope this all comes to the light.. So the coins that actually have the integrity, community, and vision to shine.

LTC, EOS, and also STEEM. Top of the line, innovative teams are the only way to make crypto secure.

Let em shine, and let all else fall.

BCC at 61% hash power.. For now.

If there's anything I'm missing, please leave in comments, am willing to add and listen to other points :) just doing the best research I may for the community and my own investments. If any of this information helps you in any way, please resteem because it could help someone else too.

You seem to be ignoring why the network can become congested like this in the first place. Why was this vulnerability left in place and vehemently defended as a way to prevent centralization?

Not ignoring.
I'm just saying it's being exploited.

Until Sharding or PoS is refined and in place there will not be a safe crypto.

Interesting.
A lot of money is changing hands right now.
There's always a reason to be weary whenever it happens on this scale.

BCH has the same scaling issues as BTC, even though BCH has slightly bigger blocks. But BCH has fewer users so it hasnt seen its fees go up yet as users compete for preferential inclusion of their transactions into blocks. However, that blockspace ceiling will be hit on the BCH chain just like it was on the BTC chain, in time. Short time.

BCH is a pump and dump scam, like many other altcoins have proven to be, because its devs arent funded by government / university grants and they wont stick around when the project loses its advantage. As soon as people realize that the fee problem BCH was supposed to solve is exactly the same on the BCH chain, and fees start rising on the BCH chain, the owners will dump it and abandon the project.

But BTC will live on and prosper because its not a moneymaking scheme, its an academia funded global experiment with the world's best minds pouring into it at MIT and other leading universities.

Segwit2X has been canceled so how can it work with BCH against BTC?
Anyway BCH doesn't seem to need any help judging by the current price, mining, and trading volume.

edit: Segwit2X was canceled on 8-November.

The team I believe will support and help them.

They are a team with billions of dollars backing them.

Sorry, am really tired will explain more in post.

Okay. It's starting to make sense. I was assuming you meant the Segwit2x hard fork instead of the team itself.

Man thank you for posting this! I couldnt agree with you more. I felt the same way but i had no real data or facts. I had a feeling they were calling off segwit 2x in an effort to gain more profits. I hope all this turns out for the better. Thanks again for the valuable insight. Im definitely following you!

the issue with "the newbie holder" title is that it only requires you to go get a new sock puppet.
this means your bot promotes the legitimacy of bots that upvotes socks. any way around this?
