Hi,
I am disappointed to see how people are investing and I am so annoyed by this question:
I have 1000 what should I invest in?
First important point you will receive a ton of answers of people just hoping their coin will do the big move so no big advice!
There my 4 advises for a good crypto investment:
Choose smth you understand or you like and would enjoy to learn more
Ex.: are you an artist? choose coin helping artist! try their platform look if they are offering smth you need and if it can grow!Read all you can, and watch videos about it
Read news, opinions (good and bad).
Team members
Watch videos about news (it helps to filter a lot of information)
If you are not a programmer read about what you understand and then go on youtube where thousands of youtuber are there to explain the tecnical part easilyFollow their social networks
Anything helping to get the latest update slack, facebook, blog, reddit, twitter, ...
See how active they are and if they are releasing stuff you were waiting for!
Don't forget trasparency is a key factor for open source projectFind also cons of the project
There are no perfect projects so find out by learning and asking what is the worst part of the project
And look if they work on it do not hesitate to contact team member or some project contacts if it is a serious project they will answer even to really basic stuff ;)Be the decision maker not the follower
NEVER blidly follow advise learn you are putting your money never let anybody choose for your investment
So instead of asking "what should I invest in" try asking somthing like "I'am an artist what coins are mainly focusing in this area"
This will bring you really usefull answers and you it will also help you finding people that are in you field so you can go deeper in the project or finding others project with them!
Crypto has a passionate community most willing to help just give them a chance ;)
Enjoy;)
Great post! Also keep in mind that not all the information online is valid.. Theres alot of misconceptions out there because of the huge influx of users trying to fill the increasing demand for crypto gurus.

Great post Ethan...sound advice. Too many are on here posting that question and, worse, actually following some of the dumb ideas people say.

Thanks! Yes and I think it is really dangerous for them and for the constant growth of crypto... which need a solid base of faith to reduce strength of correction period

I agree. There is a lot here that will profit many very well. However, like anything, there are many tokens that are garbage...in fact, the majority of them are. With over 1000 coins, you can say that 85% have no shot from the start. After that, of the remaining 150, maybe 1/3 will succeed long term.
