As so many in CryptoLand are currently a hot mess of tears as they despairingly refresh their blockfolio like a crackhead licking an empty baggie, the current bloodbath in cryptos shows us that unless you properly understand charting and technical analysis, then you must HODL.
What is HODL, the uninitiated ask? Let me enlighten you. HODL was birthed from a hilariously misspelt, drunken and defiant post from a user on the Bitcointalk Forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=375643.0).
While hilarious, GameKyuubi was completely correct: Even when it seems like the ass has completely fallen out of the entire market and all around you is a Niagara Falls of angry, red numbers, growing larger by the second, you must HODL.
The spray of FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) mists through the air as the shudders, moans and trollboxes lurch in paroxysms of fear and delusion. But you stand strong amongst it all. And HODL.
Many a noob has rushed straight from a grandiose YouTube documentary with Tone Vays yelling about changing the world and straight into a Poloniex or Bittrex with their freshly minted Bitcoin. Having fallen for the endless snake-oil salesman on Facebook groups and buying up big, they soon after find themselves stuck in a barrel heading over the blood-red falls as Bitcoin moons or whales decide to dump to shake out loose hands. The confusion and desperation that soon follows is a blunt reminder that no market goes up in a linear fashion forever, and that corrections are a large part of life in crypto.
The reactions of said noobs are often perversely enjoyable for the old hands who have been through dozens of these corrections themselves. These old hands know that the market will not only recover, but soar way past previous highs. Whether you're strapped in for that ride is completely dependent on whether you have the balls to HODL.

So, with all that in mind, I've made a little video that hopefully contains a lesson and a laugh for all of us
Enjoy :)
