The coins that are sky rocketing in price as such low key dumb ones it seems like manipulation to try and turn quick profits in a week to me.

yup! And I wouldn't mind buying it to ride that wave a little .. right now it's close to 50% marketcap of btc, so it can't really do much more than double, unless it's gonna become the #1 crypto.
It's probably still ok to buy and hold for a couple years.. would rather see it lower tho :p

Hey nothing wrong with making money. Plus it gives us power to dump it at certain point and we can all discus to dump same day. Problem is ripple can dump more tokrns on market anytime and also make new ones so it’s tricky

Right, longterm I'd worry about the centralization and their control of it, and wouldn't really expect it to last.
But if they're playing the long game, that could be a while away. Whether or not it's already too late to get in before the hype is I guess the only question.
And ya, nothing wrong with playing the speculating game imo. If you're not hurting anyone or being fraudulent, then it's all fair in my book :) And like you say, not a bad thing when the good guys make money. But I do respect the idea of just avoiding coins like this too.
