Cryptocurrency in a nutshell for beginner

Cryptocurrency by no mean is not a new phrase anymore. But let presume that you heard it for the first time and you have no idea what this thing is. 

Cryptocurrency can be simplify as a digital asset or currencies which people use in medium exchange. Each assets and currencies have differences technology behind it. Cryptocurrency divided into 3 main currencies including :

1. Coins 

Bitcoin in particular was the first coin used in medium exchange for quit a while now. The other coin that adopted in later transaction are considered as altcoins it mean Bitcoin alternative. One of the most successful altcoin was Ethereum.

2. Tokens

Tokens on the other hand are not that different from coin. Tokens can be redeem as long as those providing company keep working like BAT, EOS or TenX. developer can use token to redeem on application. Tokens are more involved in application like game point.

3. Assets

Assets and Tokens are pretty similar but they have their own function. Assets on the other hand represent the value of tokens or company. For example Bank released asset on blockchain to show the cash they are holding. 

So why you need to care about it ?

Keep in mind that each currencies served differently, some serve social modia others serve transaction more and more and it benefits us as a whole since the common goal is Decentralize network.
