JSECoin - Start Mining With Your Web Browser (Google Chrome, FireFox etc) SUPER EASY- 1 JSE= 1 USD (Still in ICO Phase)

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago

Hello Everyone,

Today, I am taking the liberty of introducing you into a new but very interesting project. The project is still in ICO phase.

Don't worry, I am not asking you to participate in ICO, I hate ICOs anyway.

So, the Project is JSECoin. It's basically a JavaScript embedded Cryptocurrency.

Yup, it's that interesting.

Short Introduction

JSECoin came into existence of the very idea that Cryptocurrencies should not be so complicated. JSE team claims that the Bitcoin Mining Network consumes more electricity than alone Cuba or Sri Lanka. This is the core idea that led the JSE team to the development of a coin that anybody could mine with their PC's.

Yes, you don't need expensive graphic cards, Antminer, ASIC's etc. All you need is a Web Browser and an internet connection.

How does the Mining works

To get started with Mining, the process is pretty simple.

  1. Open an Account here

  2. After creating an account log in to your account

  3. Go to the panel on your left side of desktop and click on the 'Mining Tab'.

4.Now click on 'Start Mining Tab'.

Congratulations ! You are Mining.

To confirm that you are Mining, just scroll down and look for Mining graph and console window if it's working properly.

You can adjust the hash power from 1-9 in the "Settings Tab", just keep it moderate otherwise you may end up crashing your Browser.

Another thing to remember is that for the Mining to work properly you have to keep the Mining window open. If you are working in another tab the mining speed may not work properly.

Payments

You get paid instantly for every hash found. Just scroll down on the same window page and you should be seeing your payouts.

That's how simple it is. Ever thought Mining could be this simple??? Never did I.

Exchanges/ Trade platforms

There's currently no Exchange platform where you can sell/buy your JSE tokens. They are in the process of getting listed on the exchanges. So, you will have to hold onto your tokens for a while.

1 JSECoin= 1 USD

JSECoin is still in ICO phase. So, you never know how much the coin will be worth in future.

It's a great project and simple implementation but I am having a hard time placing it's future useage but I have a poor imagination.

Even I am suspicious. But guess what, the whole world was suspicious of Bitcoin other than few sane minds. It takes only that much to be successful, few sane minds. You never know. :)

Nice one bro!💚💪

Thank you!

ok..
please upvot me...bro

This is a very interesting idea. I would worry that by putting this on a site, users would complain about the excess resource usage. I've seen other web developer friends complain on Twitter about pages mining crypto in the background.

I saw on your site "The cryptography code snippet uses less resources than a video advertisement and is less obtrusive to the user experience" which is a good point, but I worry about the response that no video or mining would be better. It's not realistic but, I work on the web...

If you are providing free services then may be you should use a small declaration in the footnotes. After all, you the to run the platform. And there's no free lunch.

I totally agree with you here. People are just so normalized to accept ads, even if they annoy all of us. It's just about acclimatizing people to something new.

People are used to it. They are annoyed but what they see. Graphics plays a role, mining is something that is going on in the background. They won't notice it unless they are keeping a track on Task Manager.

Just look at these two website;
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/
http://www.independent.co.uk/

How crowded they are. You would hardly find the right news you are looking for. Still they are attracting the users. I am sure your site looks better than that.

I mean look at the Independent using Taboola Ads. Can you even believe that for a Newspaper that is one of the top in the world is looking forward to revenue from those ads. They could have just let it go.

But no, there's no free lunch. Play moral, show ethics, be good and be generous but don't kick yourself for all that.

In the end, just a humble advice, may be you should put a declaration and offer some to your registered users randomly or hold a weekly/monthly draw or something as an incentive. I guess that would be a win-win.

Of course, if your platform supports that I am unsure what type of user base you have.

I totally agree this is a saner way to to do to than adds. And the end result would enjoy a way better user experience. That's all great.

I don't write for any advertizer supported media. I do get paid to write about WordPress and realated stuff, but it's been awhile since I did that on a site with adds.

To be honest part of what I'm doing here is to try and understand an alternative approach to content management, beacuse I see it as an interesting cross over between blockchain technology and the tech I normally work with, just not sure yet what that means.

Great! for content management steemit is the right place. They have just announced their plans for SMT (social media token) and that's probably something very ideal for you.

It is as simple as it can get, you issue your own token, integrate it with your own platform/web and issue it as an incentive to your users.

I would suggest you look into it.

BTW Quick note about your WordPress plugin page, spelling WordPress wrong is something we in the community -- I make my living as a plugin author -- get very touchy about. If you want to get traction for the plugin, first thing I would do is make sure you always have WordPress spelled with a capital W and P.

Hey, I am in no way associated with the TEAM (I forgot to mention that). :)

I came to knew about the project recently and it clicked my interest. So, I thought I should make it known to my readers. As it's still in early phase so you can get hold on a chunk of coins. Tx

Oh sorry. I misunderstood. I will open a pull request.
