Currently on Bittrex there is a BTC:SBD (Bitcoin/Steem Dollars) pair. What it means is there is a good opportunity if the price of Bitcoin crashes that Steem Dollars could arrive at more Bitcoins than originally bought for. This is if you are long Bitcoin, but if you are long Steem Dollars then perhaps you just want to get out of Bitcoin for good and into Steem Dollars?

Where there is tragedy there is opportunity. Oh, and don't take anything I say as investment advice, because you could lose your money.
