Word to the Wise
I've had a few people remark about how I am able to find so many scam sites. Usually I just see advertisements for them as I am moving around on different sites. Apparently I need to start frequenting a better class of website. With that said, I present to you today's scam site contender... Earn Bitcoin Forever!
Nothing as satisfying as a name that just jumps right out and puts it all on the line. No beating around the bush here. They could have played it safe and went with a more conservative name like "Earn Bitcoin For A Few Weeks", but no, they took a stand and promise you will earn FOREVER!!! It says so. Right there in the name. Can you say scam?
But to be fair, I looked around their site just to make sure I wasn't judging them too harshly, and here is what I found. First off, just in case you didn't catch it in the name they state it again, you will earn a high rate of interest every day, FOREVER!!! Just send them some Bitcoin or Ethereum, it doesn't matter, they're not picky.
They offer several enticing plans. Each one claiming to pay an even more ludicrous amount of daily interest than the last.
They also offer an extremely attractive referral plan, all you have to do is sell out your friends, family, customers and everyone you care about.
Or you could do them all a favor and go step in front of a bus. Just saying.
So there you have it, Earn Bitcoin Forever, unrealistic claims of investment returns with nothing to substantiate them and an opportunity to exploit everyone you care about. Is there any one on this planet who is foolish enough to believe they are a legitimate company? If so, take all the money you are tempted to send them and flush it down the toilet. At least you have a chance that your plumbing will get backed up and some of you cash will come back to you. That's a better chance of a return than you will get from Earn Bitcoin Forever. Because they are a scam.
Money For Nothing
Today's free money is an airdrop for free tokens from Gladius.
To get your free tokens, just follow the link and start the bot. He will walk you through the steps to claim some free tokens. You will need an ERC20 compatible Ethereum wallet address to receive the tokens.
If you don't already have an ERC20 Ethereum wallet, you can get one from MyEtherWallet.com for free.
Gladius is trying to set up a distributed service that pays people to utilize their unused internet bandwidth to help prevent DDOS attacks on customer websites. It's an interesting idea, similar to other distributed storage and computation services like STORJ, SIA and Golem. I'll be keeping an eye on them and maybe someday offering them some of my internet bandwidth. After all, I only use it for a couple hours in the evening, the rest of the time it is unused.
The Report
An now it's time for a look at the cryptocurrency market. THE SKY IS FALLING!!! THE SKY IS FALLING!!!
Bitcoin has once again fallen below $11,000 today and is currently trading at $11,716 down almost 8% in the last 24 hours.
Steem is getting hurt by Bitcoins fall like almost every other crypto. Right now Steem is trading at $3.24, down just over 7% in the last 24 hours. SBD is also trading down, just not as much, and is currently at $3.50, down 4.5% since yesterday afternoon. Currently on the Steemit Market, Steem is trading at 0.956 SBD, essentially unchanged since yesterday afternoon.
The supply of liquid Steem continues to drop, falling by another 130,000 Steem since yesterdays report. Currently there are about 77.7 million liquid Steem. This trend, if it continues, should help push the price of Steem higher.
Please note: I am not an investment professional. The information I present here is only my opinion. I do not encourage you to invest in any coin I mention, especially those featured in the Money for Nothing section, since most of these are not going to make it and may even be a scam. I only suggest you claim the free airdrops offered, nothing more.

Thanks for another update? Did you see the Corbit airdrop scam? I can't remember if they were one of your free coins or not. Wrote about that today, crazy how bold they were with this.

Fortunately, Corbit was not an airdrop I posted about. Unfortunately, I doubt it will be the last scammy airdrop. Since most of these airdrops are now being used to get people to invest in their ICOs, I would treat every one of them as a potential scam. Getting some free tokens that turn out to be worthless is one thing, paying money into an ICO that is a scam is a whole different thing.
