It depends on why you are withdrawing? I want to keep crypto in Bitcoin and don't trust exchanges, so if I trade, I want to withdraw in bitcoin. I also convert to fiat every now and then, so I need to transfer bitcoin to a gateway exchange. I rarely want to withdraw from an exchange for other reasons.
