😨🇨🇦 HELP ! Where Can I Cash Out My Steem / BTC In Canada !? 🇨🇦 😨

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago

I think I have it figured out now. But thanks anyway.
I want to get out of redfish status faster and I have faith that Steem will do what Bitcoin did so I need something in Steem NOW, before it zooms up.

Yes for sure ! Good idea ! And good luck !👍👍👍

Are you still selling Steem? If you are in the Greater Vancouver area perhaps we could trade directly. I'm looking for approx. 500 Steem.

I don't have that much powered down yet , it happens once per week usually very late on Friday nights , I will need to get back to you on that ! I would like to try saving it up if I can and wait for the price of steem to go up ! Before I cash it out again . 👍

OK, thanks for considering it though.
I spent all day yesterday studying how to buy steem and every single exchange has its issues (delays, big transfer in fees, limited options, etc.). By the time I get an account set up, the price of Steem may double again and I'll be out of the market. Missing my chance again. Nevertheless, I will continue to work at earning Steem the slow way. Depending on how far away you are, smaller purchases each week could work and we both save the conversion fees!

yes sounds good ! I always just use poloniex to exchange steem for Bitcoin , then Quadrigacx to sell my Bitcoin for money , they will directly deposit it into my account ! Its supposed be in 24 hours for express deposit but its been very busy lately and taking days now at times ! Good luck! Will keep in touch !👍👍👍

Not sure if you are up to switching things around again, but from all I've read, you might be better off using blocktrades.us (it works with Steem and can trade to/from Bitcoin or Etherium) or shapeshift.io, then QuadrigaCX. Since Bitcoin is going down, you could lose value while waiting for the transaction to go through. If you trade to Etherium, it is going up, so any delay might actually gain you some (or at least keep up with Steem going up).

Oh , im not that good at trading even what I do ! LOL! is difficult , im just learning so maybe when I get more familiar with it , as I have never traded anything in my life before , then I will do more stuff ! Even after selling steem on poliniex 5 times im still needing to watch a step by step on how to do it !! Thanks for the info , though its very hard for me to become familiar with a site to begin with , then learn a new way again is very stressful ! Haha im old and even using my new Chromebook is a nightmare !! Once I become more familiar though in the future , I will take more chances or try more things ! Thanks. ! 👍👍👍

Just checking in with you to see if you are still powering down or holding now that the price of Steem is down.

oh hi ! My power down was ended after 13 weeks last Friday . So right now Im holding some steem although I would like to sell it and hoping for the price to go up ! And im back to 100% power up . As my account is low now after powering down! Haha ! Do you have any suggestions for me ! ? Thanks !👍👍👍

If you are still wanting to sell Steem, I'm still wanting to buy it. I e-mailed Quadrigacx to see if I could go to their office and open an account there directly instead of doing all the fuss you went through. They said they don't do business in person! Soooooo... I guess I'm stuck only earning my steem unless I find someone willing to do a direct trade with me. There are a few exchanges in development right now that will allow people to do trades with each other, but none are ready yet. Of course there will always be a fee for using those services. I would be willing to go to you (we could meet in a public place that has wifi if you are more comfortable with that) and if you have a laptop, you could take it to the meeting spot and look up the current price, transfer an appropriate amount into my acct. and I pay you in cash. Both of us save the exchange fees. Last time the price of steem shot up, it went down and stayed down for approx. 8 months. No idea of when it will go up again or how low it will go before going back up.

I'm old and don't like all this complicated method of buying steem. I just want a simple transaction like we used to do in the old days. Back then we paid with cash for everything.

Thank-you!
