Nexium is an ERC20 token used to buy items in the Beyond the Void digital second-hand market, which is based on the Ethereum blockchain. Beyond the Void is a free to play 1vs1 Multiplayer Online Battle Area (MOBA) game in a world between science-fi and fantasy. Unlike other in game item, everything you own in BtV also exists outside of, and independent from, the game platform.
Owning a Nexium in a Steam game is different than owning a fund in Steam Wallet because it can be exchanged to Ethereum then any currency on earth. So for the gamers that are unfamiliar to cryptocurrency, Nexium is like real money and assets in BtV is like real item. Steam wallet funds are essentially store credit so it cannot be transferred outside Steam like to your Paypal or Bank account.
Nexium is good buy because the gaming market is always rising unlike any other media out there. Early access players' comments are (currently) mostly positive so I expect increase in demand for Nexium after 6th October.
Nexiums are available for exchange on OpenLedger, Poloniex, Bittrex, HitBTC and Etherdelta. (Currently while writing) The price of Nexium is still 6815 satoshi so don't wait until the price doubles.
