ShipChain is an innovative logistics and shipping computer platform that uses blockchain technology as its core organizing principle. With a well-defined mission of making the entire logistics and shipping space more secure, highly transparent, and economically effective, the company intends to cut out inefficiencies and middlemen currently holding back the entire industry.
With automation and accessibility as two of the keys to its strategy, ShipChain will offer a complete transportation "life cycle" picture for all the players involved: sellers/shippers, purchasers, and carriers. ShipChain users will be able to track every product in real-time as it moves from its point of origin to its final destination.
Blockchain technology, particularly Ethereum Smart Contracts and similar innovative concepts, along with a team of top-level professionals are what make ShipChain the unique, emerging leader in their field. The company will bring about a truly streamlined shipping and logistics industry ready to do business the way business was meant to be done.
Why the Shipping and Logistics Industry Needs ShipChain Now More than Ever
ShipChain's unique use of blockchain technology will enable the company to eliminate and/or minimize some of the shipping industry's most persistent problems, namely order errors, lost/late shipments, poor accountability, inefficient handling/storage management, low-occupancy shipping vehicles, wrong deliveries, and slow shipments, to name a few.
A centralized blockchain system can rapidly eliminate most of the shipping industry's age-old problems because, up to now, technology has not grown along with the shipping industry. Bringing a highly-secure, "no middleman" blockchain paradigm into the space has the potential to eradicate a host of problems in a very short period of time.
How ShipChain will Utilize Blockchain Technology
Blockchain technology solves several problems inherent in the shipping industry, including fraud, lost cargo, and inefficient contracts. ShipChain will use these new systems to eliminate expensive third-party verification, help avoid cyber-attacks of the computerized systems, and to unify cargo tracking.
ShipChain's A-List Team
ShipChain's top-notch executive team is a group of widely diverse experts in their respective fields. CEO John Monarch is a seasoned logistics expert with specialties in the private carrier, postal, air, sea and intermodal land freight industries. Monarch is also the founder and CEO of Direct Outbound, a rapidly growing U.S.-based fulfillment firm.
Joining Mr. Monarch on the ShipChain team are Chief Technology Officer Lee Bailey, a talented entrepreneur, blockchain consultant and full-stack developer; Chief Marketing Officer Brian Evans, one of the most influential business journalists in the world and a pro with more than 15 years' experience in advertising; Sam Rusani, Chief Revenue Officer; Roger Crook, Chief Strategy Officer and former CEO of shipping giant, DHL; Magnus Dufwa, Lead Developer EU; Simon Bogdanowicz, Head of Business Development; Clinton Senkow, VP of Partnerships; and Julian Zegelman, ESQ., legal counsel.
What the Industry is Saying About ShipChain
Most industry reviews of ShipChain are highly positive, noting that the company will almost certainly redefine the entire logistics/shipping field via its creative use of blockchain tech. There's no doubt that as this new niche of problem-solving entrepreneurs breaks though, ShipChain will be the leader of the emerging space.
CoinReviews.io points out that the company's team, advisory board and vision are second to none, and the entire team's mission of revenue creation and monetization in general are what make it a unique force in the industry.
Look for ShipChain to be a true industry "disrupter" with its high level of transparency, a focus on incentives and the efficient use of blockchain technology.
