Evening of 26th, Coincheck, which has been stopped cryptocurrency-dealing since morning of 26th, reported in press interview that "cryptocurrency which was worth of 58 billion-yen on that time was stolen because of an illegal access."
Cryptocurrency stolen was clients' property.
CoinCheck said that they had reported about this problem to Financial Services Agency and National Police Agency
About support to clients, CoinCheck argued that they will do their best for their clients, it possibly include monetary compensation.
At press interview, president of Coincheck, Wada deeply apologized to people concerned for causing trouble.

インターネット上の仮想通貨の売買を停止するトラブルが起きている大手取引所の「コインチェック」が26日夜、記者会見し、26日未明、不正なアクセスによって、その時点のレートで580億円相当の仮想通貨が外部に流出したことを明らかにしました。
流出したのは顧客が預けていた資産で、会社側は金融庁や警視庁に報告を行ったということです。
顧客への対応について会社は「補償を含め、顧客最優先で対応を検討している。会社の財務への影響は精査している」としています。
記者会見でコインチェックの和田晃一良社長は「取引先、関係者の皆様にご迷惑をおかけしておりますことをおわび申し上げます」と述べて陳謝しました。
