Blackbox – the future of work is here

For decades, we’ve been involved in the traditional work organization with a strict hierarchy and subjectivity. Either you rule a company, or you obey the rules and share the destiny of your colleagues being underpaid and underestimated. Although it’s clear that people have different skill sets, capabilities and level of motivation, the conventional approach to work isn’t justified. The sphere of labor is constantly developing, so should be the relationships between the hiring and the hired. This is what the Blackbox project was designed for.

Main problems of traditional work

Let’s face the facts: the vast majority of company owners and founders don’t care about their employees as much as the last would like to. The conventional organizations are the ones that favor hierarchy, submission, and strictly official relations. As the result, people working there are displeased with their team, working places, or salaries, or everything altogether. All that leads to low efficiency and quality of work.

Luckily, a lot of entrepreneurs realize that the traditional business model that formed in 80-90’s has a lot of throwback elements, such as:

  1. Work by shifts in brick-and-mortar offices when all the employees have to share single space. They interfere with each other’s activities, have to work extra hours or stay in the office doing nothing when the tasks have already been completed. All that causes physical and emotional inconvenience.
  2. Strict hierarchy. Subordinates have to execute orders in full obedience and suppress their own vision and opinion. At the same time, superiors get used to the fact their opinions are the only right version and ignore recommendations of employees that might be useful.
  3. Unfair payment system. Salary is mostly assigned according to a person’s occupation, not the scope and difficulty of work done.

The list of current issues and problems can go on and on. What we need is a completely new approach to work organization, something that would make people feel more comfortable and confident.

What is Blackbox OS?
