Interesting experiment. I'd like to start doing the same with a small amount of money just to see if I get lucky with finding some altcoin that goes through the roof by some odd chance. I'll be following your progress until I have some money to put into play mode. I am trying to power up this account as best as I can right now and converting my mined ETH to SBD as it becomes available every few days.
