this seems like an advise but it is not easy for 200k to be some throwaway money for people. Fingers are not equal. Some struggled to steemit to better their life. Others are already well-to-do.

When everyone acts out of self interest the community does not thrive. Because I haven't invested 200k in steem means I am not well off? I don't have a problem with you using your money to make more money, but that doesnt necessarily help the community. Maybe if you looked for good content and upvoted that as well. Acting out of self interest will not help this community thrive

That's wrong, an Upvote would generate new Steems on the fly which would dilute the pool of Steems and decrease the overall value for all the investors. Of course it cost something.
