Some World Crypto News

1- Voyager, a startup backed by an Uber co-founder as well as an early investor in the ride-hailing company, revealed plans Wednesday to offer no-fee trades of at least 15 different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and others.

2 - Chinese bitcoin mining giant Bitmain has revealed the total hashrate of all its cryptocurrency mining hardware. This was done as part of a larger push towards greater business transparency by the company ahead of its rumored massive IPO.

3 -Coinbase confirmed the new option was made possible through a partnership with UK-based startup WeGift, and will effectively allow cryptocurrency holders to pay for goods and services through brands such as Nike, Tesco, Uber, Google Play, Ticketmaster, and Zalando.

4 - The Japan Virtual Currency Exchange Association (JVCEA), the self-regulatory organization (SRO) of the Japanese cryptocurrency exchanges, has proposed a cap on the maximum leverage offered by exchanges for margin trading.

5 - According to a legal report released in July 2018, the country’s lawmakers are considering legalizing the multi-million dollar sports betting industry – naming cryptocurrencies as a legally acceptable payment method akin to credit and debit cards.
